Different countries have different guidelines for the use of death penalty. There are a great deal of arguments for and against death-penalty.There might be some people oppose the death penalty on moral grounds. They strongly believe in forgiveness. Yes, there are some things we can easily forgive the offenders, but there are some flagitious crimes that just call out for the death penalty. A jail sentence is fair for a thief but certainly is not good enough for a child molestor who is very likely to convict similar crimes again.Another argument against the death penalty is that the death penalty goes against human right-the right to live. Well, if someone murders someone else, he has deprived someone else of his right to live, and hence death penalty is the best option for the murderer. He who kills should be killed, it's a very fair deal. In short, I support death penalty as I trust that death penalty is an effective deterrent to heinous crimes since it permanently removes the most bloodthirsty criminals from the society. 随打随想,希望能帮到楼主。 :)
