The year 2014 represents the 22”^ anniversary of Angela Carter's death. In those twenty-two years, her works have been widely taught internationally and brought about much critical debate. In a survey conducted by Cristina Bacchilega and Danielle M. Roemer [2],Carter is one of the most commonly taught women writers on North American programs. She has endowed us with an amazingly large number of legacies in her comparatively limited life, setting foot in various fields such as novels,short stories,children stories, dramas, non-fictions and so on. Firstly, I am very interested in the study of ambiguity. Ambiguity is a common phenomenon in all natural languages. As is known to all, in our daily conversations, ambiguity is often employed to achieve the effect of humor, thus creating a relaxing atmosphere and letting people feel at ease. Some jokes caused by ambiguity is very interesting.
Secondly, I have read several articles about ambiguity written by linguistics and scholars. I found my knowledge of ambiguity is very limited, superficial and nonsystematic. What I knew is just the tip of the iceberg. So I plan to learn more about ambiguity by this research.
Thirdly, I found many scholars have carried out numerous studies of ambiguity, but a majority of these studies are focused on single language separately. Articles about comparison between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity are not sufficient. So it is necessary to make further study.

Next, I will present the outline of my thesis. It consists of 7 parts.
The first part gives a brief introduction to the ambiguity and structure of the thesis.
The second part is literature review, briefly introducing the development of study of ambiguity and some scholars’s main views.
The third to fifth parts focus on three types of ambiguity in English and Chinese: phonological ambiguity, lexical ambiguity, syntactic ambiguity. In every broad type, I respectively list some detailed branches and cite some vivid English and Chinese examples to explain these ambiguity phenomena. But I put more focus on the third part and point out two differences of ambiguity between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity.
The part six will point out positive results by using ambiguity deliberately in daily conversations, advertisements and literary works.
The last part is the conclusion.
I hope by this contrastive research, we will have a better understanding of ambiguity in English and Chinese and apply it to our life and study.

Today, the title of my paper is On the Network Novels. In recent years, the network literature is developing rapidly. Network novel is one of the fast of them. 一、幼儿园教育与小学教育衔接的初步认识
21世纪，人类社会的发展迈进了信息化的时代，社会经济正进入了知识经济的时代，与此相适应的教育发展呈现出普及教育、终身教育、个性教育等时代特征，科学的早期教育越来越受到社会的重视和期待。
第一、幼儿教育是基础教育的组成部分，是我国学校教育和终身教育的奠基阶段。因此，幼儿教育阶段纳入基础教育体系，有其合理性和必然性。并有它自身的意义和价值。幼儿教育阶段与小学教育阶段有各自的特点，但是其过渡是教育自然的连续过程。在基础教育的体系中，研究幼儿阶段教育和小学阶段教育的衔接是非常必要的。
第二、学前教育与小学教育是相邻的两个教育阶段，它们既有联系又有区别。它们在教育目标、教育方式、环境设置、学习安排和生活制度诸方面都存在很大差异。幼儿园教育活动以游戏为主要形式，从健康、语言、社会、科学、艺术五个领域，促进幼儿情感、态度、知识、技能的发展，是人的全面、启蒙教育阶段；小学教育则以系统的课堂学习为主要形式，以严格的学习与作息制度来保证，促进学生的德、智、体、美、劳全面发展，是人的初等系统教育阶段，这种差异在客观上形成了幼、小衔接中的坡度。减缓坡度，实现从幼儿到少儿的量变到质变，正是幼小衔接的研究内容。
第三、幼儿园教育的普及必然使幼儿园学习成为小学学习的准备阶段和必须阶段。为使孩子能够在进入小学学习后较快地适应小学全新的学习方式和学习环境，在幼儿园学习阶段就有意识、有规律、循序渐进地进行培养。幼小衔接不是简单的把过去小学办的学前班拿到幼儿园来办，或是单靠在幼儿园大班增加一些过度的教育内容，而是幼儿园和小学的教育教学都要科学地按照儿童的身心发展规律和认知规律来组织教育教学活动。
二、幼小衔接存在的问题
幼儿园与小学是相邻的两个教育阶段，教育任务不同，存在着阶段性。幼小衔接教育的好坏直接关系到儿童的身心健康能否和谐的发展和教育质量的高低，目前幼小衔接中还存在着不少令人担忧的问题。
1幼儿教育小学化，儿童入学后易产生厌学情绪
许多幼儿园和家长把识字课和数学课放在重要地位，把小学的教学内容提前拿到幼儿园，让未入学的幼儿学习。这非但不能提高儿童入学的适应能力，而且还造成了种种弊端：这种“教材下放”，让幼儿学习入学后将要学习的内容，实际上是让孩子先学一遍，一年后又重复学一遍。使得孩子缺乏主动学习的后劲，等到“储备”用完，就会出现使用困难。
2缺乏社会适应性能力锻炼
幼儿园平常在教学中过于重视智力因素的培养，而对遵守课堂纪律等非智力因素较少考虑，使得刚入小学的儿童表现得很不适应，如不知道按时完成作业、不知道准时上课等。教师更多地强调知识的培养和积累，其实非智力因素在儿童的成长过程中是非常重要的，如儿童的感情、动机、意志、爱好等，这些因素不仅影响儿童的成绩好坏，还会影响他们的未来发展。
3幼儿园和小学教育要求上的不一致，易产生不良学习习惯
有些幼儿教师由于对小学教育不了解，加之幼儿园本身就是以游戏为基本活动，让儿童在幼儿园养成了一些不良习惯。入小学后，有些儿童使用过学具后，不能自己收拾还原；书写汉字笔顺有错误，操作活动不规范；握笔姿势和坐姿不当；学习方式明显带有幼儿园特点，习惯于依赖教师；有的儿童甚至不懂得按顺序看画面、按页码翻书等。这些不良的学习习惯一旦形成，将影响日后儿童的有效学习。
三、对幼小教育衔接的实践探索
1搭建小幼教研活动平台
小学、幼儿园是两个完全独立的教育机构，工作中极少往来，老师间的教学缺乏最基本的沟通、了解。幼儿入学前的教育，大班老师只能在表面形式上做些更改，如延长上课时间、小学化摆放课桌椅等，而无法从实质上加深幼儿对小学的认识。因此，小幼双方可共同搭建教研平台。（1）互相学学老师都在学习、培训《纲要》及新课标，幼儿园大班与小学一年级老师可借此机会共同学习，互相探讨、交流对新课程观的看法、问题。（2）课堂教学互听互评。从教学实践层面深入了解小学或幼儿园的教育方法，以便双方在幼小衔接工作中能采取更为有效的教育措施。
2与幼儿家长、小学教师保持密切联系
幼儿园要定期和不定期与家长交流，提高育儿素质，经常保持联系，纠正不正确的'态度、方法，家园教育一致。幼儿教师主动与小学教师联系，如通过个别访谈、组织参观活动、座谈会等，倾听意见，不断改进教学内容、方法，为小学一年级教师准备一份较为详细的幼儿各方面发展情况表，以便全面系统了解。
3小学教师教育方法的改进
（1）注重学生人际交往能力的培养
学生刚入学，面对学校、老师、同学等新环境、新面孔，总会有些不适应。教师应主动参与学生的课外活动，及时了解学生的需求，尽量帮助解决，建立起互相信任的师生关系；其次，为学生营造同伴间合作、交流的氛围，提供互相帮助的机会，增进同学间团结友爱的情感。

幼儿园的教师和幼儿家长十分关注幼小衔接，家长关注之心更加迫切，特别是到了大班下学期，家长要求幼儿园教拼音、学算数，恨不得把小学的书拿来让他的孩子先学。的确，作为家长，孩子要参加各小学设置的种种面试，他们总是担心自己的孩子知识不够，所以大半的孩子已经开始面对升学压力。
要想做好幼小衔接工作，首先我们要正确认识幼儿园与小学教育的差异。幼儿园与小学在生活环境、工作任务、教学方法、对孩子的学习要求、对孩子的生活要求等各方面都有所不同。
因为小学与幼儿园存在以上差异，一些已经习惯了幼儿园生活的孩子在港进入小学时，表现出不适，常见情形有以下几种：
1.生物钟紊乱。指一时不能适应学校的作息时间。
2.孤独感。因为以前熟悉的环境与现在所面对的教师差别大，所以刚入学的孩子特别易产生“孤独感”。
3.畏难情绪。因幼儿园与小学正规教学有很大不同，孩子入学后需听懂老师上课传授的知识，完成老师布置的作业，这是硬性任务与幼儿园凭兴趣选择喜欢的课程完全不同，有的孩子理解能力、认知能力、动手能力差一些，就会觉得课程困难，无法接受，从而产生畏难厌学的心理。
4.自理能力差。不会整理文具，忘记带书本作业，不会做清洁，下课忘了上厕所致尿湿裤子等。
5.坐不住。幼儿园的教育方法与学校是截然不同的，小学要求学生坐端正认真听讲，而对幼儿园“自由”惯了的孩子来说，是坐不住的。
针对上述情况，家长应配合幼儿园老师共同做好幼小衔接工作。
第一，应适时调整孩子的生物钟。科学合理安排孩子生活。入学前的幼儿都有午睡的习惯，而入学后几本取消了午睡。但是，孩子的脑力劳动负担却大大超过了入学前。一天中，大部分时间由于紧凑、快速的学习生活中。在入学前几个月，可以按照小学的时间表为孩子列出一份作息计划。另外，还要合理安排幼儿的饮食，要求孩子养成良好的生活习惯。除了保证孩子的膳食和睡眠外，更重要的是加强体育锻炼，增强体质。
第二，家长应全面及时地关注孩子的情绪变化和孩子入学在校表现。幼儿教育是在游戏和活动中促进幼儿德、智、体、美全面发展的，教学方式表现出很强的趣味性，容易吸引孩子，而小学教育是有一定的教学任务的，教师是有系统的、有步骤地进行教学的，与幼儿园教育相比、知识性较强。刚入小学的孩子心里上的幼稚性，依赖性，行为上的无意性仍然很突出，不能很快的适应小学生活，给学习带来一些困难。了解孩子是教好孩子的前提，千万不要以为就把一切交给了老师。
第三，培养孩子自理能力。我们知道，孩子在幼儿园里，过的是一种集体生活，整天都有老师跟班，生活上遇到困难，会及时得到老师的帮助。进入小学后，孩子过的是种相对独立的学习生活，像系鞋带、准备学习用品等问题，都得靠孩子自己，孩子动作慢，能力差，是必会影响他的学习。可见为了培养孩子的生活自理能力管理，建议家长们记住孩子能做和应该做的事情，应该让孩子自己去做。
第四，进行安全意识教育，增强自我保护能力。离开幼儿园，走进小学，孩子更多面对的是复杂的社会大环境，会遇到很多不安全因素。家长、老师就更应该教育孩子很好的保护自己。另外还要教育他们懂得和遵守交通规则，注意自我安全。
第五，培养幼儿的社会交往能力。幼儿进入小学后，接触新的环境、新的老师、新的伙伴，就需要幼儿重新建立新的人际关系。接受新老师，认识交往新朋友，能否尽快融入新集体，与老师同学友好相处，需要一定的与人交往能力，对交往能力强的幼儿来说，不算什么难题，而对那些性格内向、交往能力差的幼儿或是以自我为中心的孩子，若处理不当就容易与同伴之间产生矛盾与冲突，从而影响孩子的学习与生活。因此，老师和家长应特别注重对幼儿的交往能力的培养。
第六，培养幼儿良好的心理品质。帮助幼儿学会控制自己的情绪，用正确的方式调整自己的行为，自己的事情自己解决，不能解决的请同伴帮助;学会理解他人的行为，与同伴一起玩耍时不争抢;能听从正确的劝告，能知错就改，知道像榜样学习，养成积极向上的竞争意识;同伴之间友爱互助，主动关心帮助有困难的同伴;能正确认识和评价自己。
第七，帮助孩子养成良好的习惯。科学家认为，终身所学到的最主要的是幼儿园老师给他们培养的良好习惯。英国培根一生成就斐然，他在谈到习惯时感触的说：“习惯真是种顽强而巨大的力量，他可以主宰人的一生”，因此，人从幼年起就应该通过教育培养一种良好的习惯。
习惯是行为的自动化，不需要特别的意志努力，不需要别人的监控，在什么情况下按计划规则去行动，习惯一旦养成，就会成为支配人生的一种力量。良好的学习习惯同浓厚的学习兴趣、正确的学习方法一样，在学习中起着重要的作用，孩子一旦有良好的学习习惯，将受益众生。所以，要培养孩子养成以下习惯：
1.养成课前准备的好习惯;
2.养成正确的坐写姿势;
3.养成良好的读书习惯
4.养成认真倾听、专心学习的习惯;
5.认真思考、克服困难的习惯;
6.讲究卫生的习惯。
有人说，儿童的心田是一块神奇的土地，播种了一种思想，便会有行为的收获;播种了行为，便会有习惯的收获;播种了习惯便会有品德的收获;播种了品德，便会有命运的收获。也有人说，养成习惯，习惯造就性格，性格决定命运。这些话似乎有些绝对，但良好的习惯对人生的确太重要了。养成良好学习习惯的人，要比那种没有养成良好习惯的人以及养成不良习惯的人具有较大的潜在能量。
