The title of my paper is On the Significance of Drama Method in the Improvement of English Learning in Chinese Rural Junior High School. I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons. First of all, I really want to be a teacher, so during the four years, I have read many books about how to become a good teacher. Secondly, when I was a freshman in the summer of 2008, I was chosen as a teaching assistant of the summer camp which was organized by the New Oriental English School in Shijiazhuang. In the summer camp, I rewrote a script of an English drama to be one of the programs of the open ceremony. It was very popular among those students. They thought it was very interesting. In 2010, I was practiced as an English teacher at Chenguantun Middle School in Qinhuangdao, I found that the students have little interest towards English learning, so I hoped I could help them. So I use the Drama Method as my teaching method. Almost all of the students were highly motivated by the interesting teaching method and they have made great progress in the exam one month later. So the research proved that the Drama Method can be used as an effective teaching method. For the above facts, I select the subject of On the Significance of Drama Method in the Improvement of English Learning in Chinese Rural Junior High School as the title of my paper. Firstly, I am very interested in the study of ambiguity. Ambiguity is a common phenomenon in all natural languages. As is known to all, in our daily conversations, ambiguity is often employed to achieve the effect of humor, thus creating a relaxing atmosphere and letting people feel at ease. Some jokes caused by ambiguity is very interesting.
Secondly, I have read several articles about ambiguity written by linguistics and scholars. I found my knowledge of ambiguity is very limited, superficial and nonsystematic. What I knew is just the tip of the iceberg. So I plan to learn more about ambiguity by this research.
Thirdly, I found many scholars have carried out numerous studies of ambiguity, but a majority of these studies are focused on single language separately. Articles about comparison between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity are not sufficient. So it is necessary to make further study.
For the above facts, I select this title.
Next, I will present the outline of my thesis. It consists of 7 parts.
The first part gives a brief introduction to the ambiguity and structure of the thesis.
The second part is literature review, briefly introducing the development of study of ambiguity and some scholars’s main views.
The third to fifth parts focus on three types of ambiguity in English and Chinese: phonological ambiguity, lexical ambiguity, syntactic ambiguity. In every broad type, I respectively list some detailed branches and cite some vivid English and Chinese examples to explain these ambiguity phenomena. But I put more focus on the third part and point out two differences of ambiguity between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity.
The part six will point out positive results by using ambiguity deliberately in daily conversations, advertisements and literary works.
The last part is the conclusion.
I hope by this contrastive research, we will have a better understanding of ambiguity in English and Chinese and apply it to our life and study.

Good morning, distinguished professors and teachers, thank you for attending the oral defense. I’m xxx and come from class x. My supervisor is professor Li. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Prof. Li.With his consistent guidance and valuable suggestions, I have finished my paper. The title of my paper is xxxxxxxxxxxxx. I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons.
Firstly, I am very interested in the study of ambiguity. Ambiguity is a common phenomenon in all natural languages. As is known to all, in our daily conversations, ambiguity is often employed to achieve the effect of humor, thus creating a relaxing atmosphere and letting people feel at ease. Some jokes caused by ambiguity is very interesting.
Secondly, I have read several articles about ambiguity written by linguistics and scholars. I found my knowledge of ambiguity is very limited, superficial and nonsystematic. What I knew is just the tip of the iceberg. So I plan to learn more about ambiguity by this research.
Thirdly, I found many scholars have carried out numerous studies of ambiguity, but a majority of these studies are focused on single language separately. Articles about comparison between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity are not sufficient. So it is necessary to make further study.
For the above facts, I select this title.
Next, I will present the outline of my thesis. It consists of 7 parts.
The first part gives a brief introduction to the ambiguity and structure of the thesis.
The second part is literature review, briefly introducing the development of study of ambiguity and some scholars’s main views.
The third to fifth parts focus on three types of ambiguity in English and Chinese: phonological ambiguity, lexical ambiguity, syntactic ambiguity. In every broad type, I respectively list some detailed branches and cite some vivid English and Chinese examples to explain these ambiguity phenomena. But I put more focus on the third part and point out two differences of ambiguity between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity.
The part six will point out positive results by using ambiguity deliberately in daily conversations, advertisements and literary works.
The last part is the conclusion.
I hope by this contrastive research, we will have a better understanding of ambiguity in English and Chinese and apply it to our life and study.

It is with his valuable assistance that I have finally accomplished this thesis.My topic is On the tragedy figures at historical turning points（Comparison of KongYiji and Rip Van ）The whole thesis consists of 6 parts. The first part will give a brief introduction of the negative, evasive and conservative attitudes of Kong and Rip as well as the topic s significance in the real society. And the second part is going to analyze the figures background to show the historical necessity of the tragedies. In the third part, the tragic heroes failing in the character according to their living environment will be further discussed and the fourth part is to talk about their different tendency of dispositions and behaviors in the society. Then the author will dig into the root causes of the tragedies in the fifth part, and sum up the whole paper to reveal the ideological weak points of the two countries separately in the last part.
1、答辩小组通过对该论文的审核，认为该论文立意较好，作者具有一定的阅读参考资料的能力，基本完成了毕业论文任务书所规定的内容，行文流畅，答辩时能正确地回答答辩小组提出问题。本文尚存在个别语言表述欠妥、观点不够条理清晰等缺点。经答辩小组讨论，答辩成绩定为优。 2、在五分钟的陈述中，该生介绍了论文的主要观点、论文的内容与结构，以及论文的写作过程，条理比较清晰，语言无大错，但有时得看讲稿，因此显得准备不足。对教师提出的第一个问题，该生只是在教师的启发后才做出了基本正确的回答。对教师提出的第二个问题，该生的回答基本正确，但无形中暴露了将tragic faith写作tragic fate并非笔误。对第三个问题，该生的答辩令人满意，但有少量语言错误。在语音、语调方面，该生存在若干问题。流利程度不及同一答辩组中的其他同学。答辩组经过认真讨论，仍然同意通过该生的毕业论文，但要求该生纠正论文中尚存的部分语言错误。 3、论文选题符合专业培养目标，能够达到综合训练目标，题目有较高难度，工作量大。选题具有较高的学术研究（参考）价值（较大的实践指导意义）。 4、论文能按时交稿，经过认真修改，已经达到本科论文的要求。 本论文选题有很强的应用价值，文献材料收集详实，综合运用了所学知识解决问 题，所得数据合理，结论正确，有创新见解。另外论文格式正确，书写规范，条理清晰，语 言流畅。 1 在为期三个月的毕业设计中，该同学能在老师的严格要求下顺利完成整个毕业设计工作和 论文的撰写。程序能正确的运行，界面安排合理，论文符合要求。在整个毕业设计的过程， 态度端正，学习也比较认真，时间安排也很合理，能按时到实验室，不存在无故早退或迟到 的情况。能基本在每个阶段完成相应的任务，还能主动加班，做到时间上前紧后松。当然， 在这其间也存在一些不足和需要提高的地方。例如，知识面不够广，处理问题和运用知识的 能力还有待提高，不能积极主动的和老师交流工作的进程。希望该同学在以后的工作或学习 中注意这些问题，争取更大的提高和进步。对学生知识掌握水平的评价：1.基础扎实，对基本知识，基本理论和基本技能的掌握比较完整和全面等等 2.对该论文适用性的评价：比如切合现实的需要，较好地解决了现实生产生活工作中对该内容 的需求；相关适用单位的反映与评价等 3.文章本身逻辑性和科学性的评价 4.论文本身对本学科未来发展的预见性评价 5.与相关学科综合评价 优： 5、文题完全相符，论点突出，论述紧扣主题。 6、在五分钟的陈述中，该生介绍了论文的主要观点、内容与结构，以及为此进行的研究。陈述简明扼要，显示对所研究的问题有一定的认识。对教师提出的第一个问题，该生的回答准确无误；对有关资料来源的问题，该生作了如实的回答，但在论文中的许多地方，她却没有标明数据的出处，这不能不说是一个重大缺陷。对第三个问题的回答显然不够切题，可能没听清老师口头提出的问题。该生的答辩语言流利，但语音、语调存在一定的问题。答辩组经过认真讨论，一致同意通过该生的毕业论文，但要求该生纠正论文中尚存的某些错误。 7、文章篇幅完全符合学院规定，内容完整，层次结构安排科学，主要观点突出，逻辑关系清 楚，有一定的个人见解。 8、为了写好这篇论文，作者作了一定研究，特别是斯坦贝克的原著。从作者对原著的引用情况 不难看出，作者对原著的内容是相当熟悉的。语言也非常犀利，论文条理清晰、说理充分， 观点具有独创性，有一定的参考价值，不失为一篇好文章。 论文选题有意义，在吸收学术界研究成果的基础上，有自己的心得体会，提出自己的 看法，言之成理。论述观点正确，材料比较充实，叙述层次分明，有较强的逻辑性。文字通 顺、流畅。行文符合学术规范。今后要进一步总结经验，对音乐教育模式进行比较，这样可 以把音乐教学教得更好。论文能按时交稿，经过认真修改，已经达到本科论文的要求。 9、本文选题的角度较为新颖，文章脉络清晰，文笔流畅，基本观点明确。文章目前仍存在的主要问题：学生没有完全深入和消化所查找的资料，论据不够充分有力。 10、答辩小组意见该生能在规定时间叙述论文的主要内容，对提出的问题一般能回答，无原则错误。答辩小组经过充分讨论，根据该生论文质量和答辩中的表现，同意评定论文成绩为中等。 11、本论文选题有很强的应用价值，文献材料收集详实，综合运用了所学知识解决问题， 所得数据合理，结论正确，有创新见解。另外论文格式正确，书写规范，条理清晰，语言流 畅。今后要进一步总结经验，对德育教育模式进行比较，这样可以把德育教育工作得更好。 12、答辩小组意见该生能在规定时间内比较流利、清晰地阐述论文的主要内容，能恰当回答与论文有关的问题。答辩小组经过充分讨论，根据该生论文质量和答辩中的表现，同意评定论文成绩为“良好”。 13、该生查阅文献资料能力强，能全面收集关于考试系统的资料，写作过程中能综合运用考试系 统知识，全面分析考试系统问题毕业论文，综合运用知识能力强。 14、语言表达流畅，格式完全符合规范要求；参考了丰富的文献资料，其时效性较强；没有抄袭 现象。 15、本文研究了 XXXX.对处理会计信息失真有较强的实用价值，提供了新的依据。作者思 路清晰，论述过程严谨，分析合理，结果于实际应用性较强。论文写作规范，语句通顺，达 到了学校对学位论文的各种要求。论文题与论文的内容基本相符，结构完整，语言比较流畅。即或在初稿中除了分段过 细外，也没有发现多少严重的语法或拼写错误。作者试图从列夫·托尔斯泰和曹禺的作品中 寻找其小说中某个人物的关联。从内容看，作者对原著比较了解，也收集到了相关的资料， 如何通过分析资料得出自己的结论这是论文写作应达到的目的，而恰恰在这一点上，作者下了苦功夫。论文结构完整，各部分基本符合 XXXXX 论文的写作规范。论文的选题很好，有创意。 16、此文首先值得肯定的是选题的立意较好。也是较有研究空间的论题。论文在有限的篇幅里，也基本能叙述清楚。该专题属于业内。研究程度及第一手资料、文献都积累较多的领域，注意充分吸收已有研究成果以支持自己的分析、研究。论述清楚，论点鲜明，论据充实，结构合理，文笔流畅。存在不足在于缺少自己的新的观点，多为总结今人研究之成果，但作为一名本科生也属可贵。 17、答辩小组意见该生能在规定时间内能陈述论文的主要内容，但条理不够明确，对某些主要问题的回答不够恰当，但经提示后能作补充说明。答辩小组经过充分讨论，根据该生论文质量和答辩中的表现，同意评定论文成绩为及格。 18、答辩小组通过对该论文的审核，(m.taiks.com)认为该论文选题具有研究价值，作者具有一定的阅读参考资料的能力，基本完成了毕业论文任务书所规定的内容，行文流畅，答辩时能较正确地回答问题。本文尚存在全篇结构不够合理、介绍多与论述等缺陷。经答辩小组讨论，答辩成绩定为。 19、立意较好，也很有研究价值。但此题构架和内容都比较庞大，也需要较强较成熟的独立研究能力，因此，对于本科生来说，难度不小。如果作者能多吸取和借鉴前人的研究成果，并加强对文献的阅读和分析，则更能帮助其在论题的论证上，理顺逻辑，顺畅思辨。在论文陈述上，还需大胆、自信，这样才能提高临场语言的提炼能力，对问题的应变能力。

20、结合数学知识用计算机技术来处理地质问题，对方法原理掌握透彻，论文有比较好的创新。对快速傅里叶和小波变换图的结果分析到位，处理结果良好，计算机基础素养好。答辩中主要问题回答准确、深入。论文中变换的指标若有对比会更好。

2. 选题符合……专业培养目标要求，也体现出较强的时代特色性与实践应用性，全文结构基本合理，思路比较清晰，语言比较通顺，层次分明，观点表达基本准确，论据与论点基本上保持一致，参考的文献资料与论题和论文内容结合紧密，能综合运用行政管理专业原理知识并结合社会实际来分析文中的主要问题，但格式还不是很规范，创新点不够，部分论点的论证还缺乏说服力，语言凝练的还不够，总体上说，基本达到毕业论文的要求。以xx为主题，全文首先分析了xx，然后再分析xx，最后重点探讨了xx。

Today, the title of my paper is On the Network Novels. In recent years, the network literature is developing rapidly. Network novel is one of the fast of them. First of all, I want to talk about the research background and significance of the graduation thesis design.

Based on Foucault's power theory, this thesis is going to explore how the female protagonist Anna in Doris Lessing's the Golden Notebook, the producer and victim of power,fought against her catastrophic life. Through a close reading of the text, this thesis aims at making a Foucanldian interpretation on Lessing's motivation behind portraying such a schizophrenic female personality, convincing the reader that power permeates every capillary of the society mainly by exerting influence on power relations between individual. Sinceeverything concerns with the functioning of power, be it tragedy or comedy, Anna's destiny cannot be an exception, instead of restraining from the one-way suppress from men,Foucault's power theory enables us to put the heroine into a larger, more diverse cultural or social background where individual's identity could be perceived with much more plurality or heterogeneity. Ultimately, given Anna's gender attributes, the application of Foucault's power theory to the analysis of heroine can shed light on how women could wittedly deal with their counterpart, strike a balance between freedom and restriction, and thus heading feminism into a more reasonable and rational direction.
Secondly, I want to talk about the structure and main contents of this paper.
The author is going to divide this thesis into five chapters. The first chapter is a briefing about the research background of the Golden Notebook, which provides an overview on the fragmented content and complicated structure of this masterpiece. The second chapter is an introduction of the research status of this novel at home and abroad, at the same time,Foucault's power theory will be elaborated here as the theoretical framework. Chapter three concentrates on the text analysis of the female protagonist Anna's pursuit of the free woman identity, which will be conducted mainly from three perspectives, namely her political faith,marriage and love, as well we psychological status. Through asserting Foucault's power theory into the text analysis, we could get a clear view on how the heroine became the victim of the omnipresent power in contemporary social organizations, and also how individual resisted power via making explorations on the genealogy of the self. Chapter four gives two different interpretations of Anna's destiny, with each representing the common feminists'view and Foucault's version respectively. Via such comparison, the author attempts to find a correlation between Foucault's power theory and feminism, to tell in what ways Foucault'spower theory have modified parts of problems in current feminism, and how the formal convergent with the latter. The last chapter serves as a concluding part in which a summary of this thesis will be reached, and limitations as well as further implications will be point out.
Finally, I want to talk about the deficiency existing in this paper.
The limitations of this thesis cannot be regarded as the challenge to the relevance of Foucaxxlt's theory to feminism; on the contrary, it tells that the value of applying Foucault'spower theory lies precisely in his invitation to feminists to remain highly critical about their previous prejudices as well as their future trends. In order to make full use of Foucault's power theory in modifying feminism, we have to dig out more convergences they share with each other. With the idea that knowledge and truth are partial ones serving as a start,Genealogy is then an excellent perspective for farther explorations on the Foucauldian and feminist projects.

I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons. With the development of reform and the expanding of foreign exchanges in China, western festivals gradually become a fashion in China. It has a special and extensive influence on our culture diversity and the values of young people. Foreign festivals are celebrated for fun in China today and give people more opportunities to relax. However, many people worry about this phenomenon, so in the Internet and newspaper, many articles hold an opinion that western festivals should not be celebrated in China. So I want to know whether the popularity of western festivals only take disadvantages for China.
This paper aims to find out the underlying reasons of popularity of western festivals in China and their influences on our cultural diversity so as to guide people out of the wrong region inwardly and roster Chinese festival culture with an active attitude.
