1、SCI官方的划分方式：
所有的期刊主要按影响因子高低被分为四个区，分别是Q1区，Q2区，Q3区，Q4区，各占25%。即Q1区是影响因子最靠前25%的期刊，Q4区是最靠后的25%的期刊。Q1区的期刊质量最高，Q4区期刊质量最低。
2、中科院的划分方式：
划分依据相同，但四部分比例不同，Q1区（前5%),Q2区（6%—25%)，Q3区（26%—50%)，Q4区（51%—100%)。
