“情”“知”交融,享受课堂——也谈英语学科

        笔者认为,英语课堂既是一个学知识的平台、也是一个进行情感交流的媒介、更是一个对于人性尊重、让我们体验享受教育幸福的世界!下面是我在教学中的点滴尝试。

一、以真情交流为基础,促学生情感生成

对学生来说,学习过程并不是单纯的知识接受或技能的训练,而是伴随着交往、创造、追求、意志努力、喜怒哀乐等的综合过程,是学生整个内心世界的全面参与。那么我们的英语课,不仅仅再是枯燥单一的学习语言知识,而是师生进行真挚的情感交流。

案例:6AUnit2 Ben’s birthday 第二课时free talk 中

T: I like March you know, because my birthday is in March. And another reason is my son’s birthday is in March, too. Guess : when’s my son’s birthday?

S1: Hay, Hatti. Is it on the 20th of March ?

….

T: No, I give you some hints:“It is on a special day in March.”

S: It is on the 8th of March.

T: Yes, you are right. It’s on Women’s Day. I think he is the best present from the God to me. So you’re the best present from the God to your parents. Last year, we celebrated his birthday, let me show you some photos.

在这一小段的自由对话中,本身只是巩固复习上节课对于日期和生日的表达;从增添课堂趣味性角度和从课堂教学设计自然过渡的角度出发,设计了让学生猜我儿子生日的这个活动,但是就是一句即兴发挥的评价和出自内心的真实表达I think he is the best present from the God to me. So you’re the best present from the God to your parents.就显得与众不同,教师情感的自然流露,学生对父母情感的心理体验,学生情商得到发展。

二、以巧妙板书为媒介,促学生情商发展

作为教师,我们注重培养学生的能力,忽略情感教育和情商的开发。其实,有时只需改变新课的揭题方式,就可以两者兼得。

案例:单词教学A happy family.

T: What do you want to say to your father and mother. I will say mum I love you . Dad, I love you . Then the teacher asked the student :Do you love me? The students said: hatti, I love you. (此时学生表达对老师感情时,教师给学生以拥抱和爱的表白,I love you,too. I am very happy.同时渗透…is happy.在这时掀起一个爱的高潮。)

最后揭题:Father and mother , I love you. Look at the letters : f—a---m---i---l---y  family. This is a big family. This is a happy family.这里在黑板上把每个单词连起来,变成一颗爱心,突出今天的主题,爱的教育。并渗透our class is a big family, we’re brothers and sisters. We love each other 渗透情感教育,发展其情商EQ。

三、以谈论话题为载体,享受课堂幸福

2009年圣诞平安夜,一节英语课让我真正体验了英语课堂的幸福,它也是我从事教学十年来收到的最好的圣诞礼物,三次情感的震撼体验,将深深烙印在我的内心深处!

案例:6A的复习课Holidays。

整节课为三个部分,首先用圣诞节这一资源,由一个What do people usually do at Christmas?导入,复习圣诞节相关句子;接着介绍西方人过节的情况,作了一个西方文化的渗透,更由此点出Christmas Spirit: Giving is better than getting!进而进入讨论话题:What present would you like as a present this Christmas? What present would you like to give to your family ?在讨论中,学生生成了精彩表达。如:I’d like my mum’s sweet kiss as my present this Christmas. I’d like to wash clothes for my parents. I’d like to wash feet for my grandma. I’d like to give my dad a big hug!……如果说孩子们这样的表达拉近了与亲人之间的距离,那么下一个环节给父母送上圣诞礼物就把这种骨肉亲情表达的淋漓尽致、把孩子对父母的感恩之情体现的酣畅淋漓、更是把这节课推向了高潮!孩子、家长、更包括我被当时的场景深深地触动,给我们的心灵带来了一次震撼,给我们的情感的带来一次圣洁的洗礼,也把整节课打造得熠熠生辉,整节课溢满幸福!

结语

学习英语是为了交际,交际中缺少了情感就如行尸走肉。只有富有情感的交流才是人性的交流、才能拉近人与人的距离,才能让人类、社会更和谐!那么从我们的小学英语课堂开始吧!
