药物新剂型与新技术；中药新剂型与药代动力学；靶向给药系统、缓控释制剂和经皮吸收制剂的研究。近五年重点从事靶向给药制剂、新型药用高分子材料及细胞动力学研究、中药缓控释制剂及新技术的研究。拥有一支强有力的科研队伍，形成了自己科研工作的特色。 长期从事药物新剂型与创新药物制剂的开发研究工作，具有丰富的研发药物新制剂和组织开发药物新产品的综合能力。以靶向制剂、缓控释制剂和经皮吸收给药系统作为主要研究方向，近五年重点开展定时脉冲延释制剂的新技术研究、口服药物吸收机理的研究，自乳化给药系统及固体自微乳新剂型的研究；中药缓控释制剂及吸收药动学研究，应用Caco-2细胞模型和分子生物学技术，通过组织、器官和整体动物水平开展药物胃肠吸收机制、P-糖蛋白作用的研究。近几年从事纳米靶向载体材料的合成及在主动靶向给药系统应用的研究，开展抗肿瘤药物及载体靶向系统吸收动力学和体内靶向分布的研究。主持并完成国家863重大专项课题一项，课题编号：2004AA2Z3020，曾参加并完成国家自然科学基金一项，负责完成省纵向课题两项；主持并完成多项横向课题，获国家级新药证书两本；与国内制药企业合作的多项课题已获得较好的社会和经济效益。申请中国专利6项，已授权1项；近年来在国内外药学核心期刊发表学术论文30篇以上。主编药学专著2部，副主编专著1部，参编药剂学等专业著作10部。曾荣获中国药科大学授予教学改革课题《工业药剂学实验教学新体系的实践》奖、科技优秀奖、“献身教育的好教师” 、ISP科教优秀奖等荣誉证书；为中国临床药理学与治疗学杂志等国内知名期刊的同行审稿专家。指导硕士研究生22人，已毕业8人。
