Some jokes caused by ambiguity is very interesting.
Secondly, I have read several articles about ambiguity written by linguistics and scholars. I found my knowledge of ambiguity is very limited, superficial and nonsystematic. What I knew is just the tip of the iceberg. So I plan to learn more about ambiguity by this research.

Next, I will present the outline of my thesis. It consists of 7 parts.
The first part gives a brief introduction to the ambiguity and structure of the thesis.
The second part is literature review, briefly introducing the development of study of ambiguity and some scholars’s main views.
The third to fifth parts focus on three types of ambiguity in English and Chinese: phonological ambiguity, lexical ambiguity, syntactic ambiguity. In every broad type, I respectively list some detailed branches and cite some vivid English and Chinese examples to explain these ambiguity phenomena. But I put more focus on the third part and point out two differences of ambiguity between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity.
The part six will point out positive results by using ambiguity deliberately in daily conversations, advertisements and literary works.
The last part is the conclusion.
I hope by this contrastive research, we will have a better understanding of ambiguity in English and Chinese and apply it to our life and study.

The title of my paper is On the Significance of Drama Method in the Improvement of English Learning in Chinese Rural Junior High School. I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons. First of all, I really want to be a teacher, so during the four years, I have read many books about how to become a good teacher. Secondly, when I was a freshman in the summer of 2008, I was chosen as a teaching assistant of the summer camp which was organized by the New Oriental English School in Shijiazhuang. In the summer camp, I rewrote a script of an English drama to be one of the programs of the open ceremony. It was very popular among those students. They thought it was very interesting. In 2010, I was practiced as an English teacher at Chenguantun Middle School in Qinhuangdao, I found that the students have little interest towards English learning, so I hoped I could help them. Firstly, I am very interested in the study of ambiguity. Ambiguity is a common phenomenon in all natural languages. As is known to all, in our daily conversations, ambiguity is often employed to achieve the effect of humor, thus creating a relaxing atmosphere and letting people feel at ease. Some jokes caused by ambiguity is very interesting.
Secondly, I have read several articles about ambiguity written by linguistics and scholars. I found my knowledge of ambiguity is very limited, superficial and nonsystematic. What I knew is just the tip of the iceberg. So I plan to learn more about ambiguity by this research.
Thirdly, I found many scholars have carried out numerous studies of ambiguity, but a majority of these studies are focused on single language separately. Articles about comparison between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity are not sufficient. So it is necessary to make further study.
For the above facts, I select this title.
Next, I will present the outline of my thesis. It consists of 7 parts.
The first part gives a brief introduction to the ambiguity and structure of the thesis.
The second part is literature review, briefly introducing the development of study of ambiguity and some scholars’s main views.
The third to fifth parts focus on three types of ambiguity in English and Chinese: phonological ambiguity, lexical ambiguity, syntactic ambiguity. In every broad type, I respectively list some detailed branches and cite some vivid English and Chinese examples to explain these ambiguity phenomena. But I put more focus on the third part and point out two differences of ambiguity between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity.
The part six will point out positive results by using ambiguity deliberately in daily conversations, advertisements and literary works.
The last part is the conclusion.
I hope by this contrastive research, we will have a better understanding of ambiguity in English and Chinese and apply it to our life and study.

毕业论文答辩的“前后左中右”
骨干教师在专业成长过程中，除了要自觉开展大量的课堂实践(如校本教研、磨课等)之外，一般还要经历几次由教师培训机构或教育主管部门组织的论文答辩。 如何使自己能够顺利地跳过 “龙门”，使自己在论文答辩时更加出色，得到专家的肯定? 笔者结合自身经历，拟就论文答辩之前如何做好准备工作谈点看法。若要顺利通过专家的论文答辩，能够递交一篇质量较高的论文当然是基础。 但是，在参加答辩之前，如果能够做好“前、后、左、中、右”五个方面的充足的准备，也能起到事半功倍的作用。
所谓“前”，就是要介绍清楚自己为什么写这篇论文的缘由。
笔者参加过一次模拟省特级教师评选的论文答辩， 递交的论文题目是 《巧引名言度金针———例谈阅读教学中“名言”的引用艺术》。 论文开篇界定了“名言”的内涵，接着从教师和学生两个视角简述了引用名言的意义和作用，最后重点介绍了巧引名言的四种策略———创生主题、 升华情感、引发矛盾、总结写法。
在论文答辩的开始，笔者至少应向专家评委讲清楚“名言的界定”和“阅读教学中引用名言的重要意义”这两个问题。 前一个问题，是为了方便自己的立论，明晰论文中的几个关键概念，避免引起不必要的歧义。 笔者在论文中，将“名言”界定为“一般是由名人说的短小精悍、含义隽永的句子，常见的有名人格言警句，也包括谚语、古诗句等”。 后一个问题，是这篇论文存在的基础和起点。 回答为什么写这篇论文的缘由，一般有两种方法：一是归纳现状，分析弊端，反面立论;二是开门见山，观点“亮剑”，正面阐述。 笔者的论文就采用后者，在点明眼下不少教师青睐引用名言的事实之后，从教师和学生两个视角分析了课堂教学中恰当引用名言所带给学生的“正能量”。
一篇论文从起草完成，到发表获奖，再到递交审查，最后到参加答辩，都需要一定的时间，少则一年数月，多则两三年之久。 从这个意义上说，答辩的论文都具有滞后性的特点。 所以，在论文答辩的最后一个环节， 应该主动交代论文存在的欠缺和不足，并提出有效的改进策略，使专家评委能够看到自己的论文的确是在“真研究”基础上取得的成果，而不是“鼠标百度式”的拼凑之作。
比如，笔者在论文答辩时最后陈述，因为论文成文于 2010 年， 当时新课标 2011 年版还没有公布，所以一定存在着诸多不足之处，主要表现在：一是眼睛向外，只考虑“外引”———从教材、课文之外引入名言，而没有关注“内视”。 其实很多课文本身就具有名言。 比如，《桂林山水》开首的古诗句“桂林山水甲天下”，再比如《全神贯注》结尾处茨威格的话：“人类的一切工作，如果值得去做，而且要做得好，就应该全神贯注。 ”还有课后的“资料袋”中罗丹的名言：“美是到处都有的。 对于我们的`眼睛，不是缺少美，而是缺少发现。 ”答辩时只要能作诚恳的反思，就能取得专家的谅解。 二是重点介绍的四种巧引名言策略还有待进一步的充实和完善，笔者答辩时介绍完文中列举的“四大策略”之后，又增加了“假借评价、指导学法、灵活改写”等几种，并做了详略有致的介绍。 这样一来，专家就觉得你确实在做行动研究。
大科学家牛顿说：“如果说我取得了一定的成绩，那是因为我站在了巨人肩膀上的缘故。 ”任何一篇论文，都不可能是全新的创造，一般都是在总结已有成果的基础上，推陈出新、不断扬弃而写成的。就某一篇论文而言，其中存在局部理念不新、个别策略缺乏新意等弊病在所难免，因为这不是论文的核心所在。 一篇有价值的论文，一定有它的独特之处和创新价值所在。 这就要求我们在答辩时一定要拿捏好详略的分寸， 对于那些常见的理念和策略，只能作简明扼要的概述，切勿滔滔不绝、老生常谈。
比如， 笔者详细阐述巧引名言的 “四大策略”时，也不是平均用力、面面俱到的。 对于巧引名言“创生主题”，笔者结合着名特级教师盛新凤的课例《卢沟桥的狮子》，详细介绍了如何引入名言 ，创生一个与文本融合的“主题”，然后按照“找到一个支点，拉出一条线，画成一个圆”的流程组织教学，从而取得较好的效果的过程。 而对于巧引名言“总结写法”策略，笔者只作了简略的介绍，因为随着 2011版新课标的颁布，“言意结合”、“不仅要关注课文写了什么，更加要关注是怎么写的”等理念的耳熟能详， 歌德的名言———“写什么” 人人看得见，“怎么写”对于大多数人却是个秘密，已经没有必要再作更多的解释了，正所谓“各领风骚两三年”。
所谓“中”，主要指论文本身。
对答辩者来说，对自己递交的论文一定要做到“烂熟于心”。 郭沫若诗云：“胸藏万汇凭吞吐，笔有千钧任 翕 张。 ”意思是说， 只要作者胸中藏有万千个词汇能为我所用，即使笔下有千钧重，写作起来也能挥洒自如。 就是说，答辩者一定要做好充足的知识储备，对自己递交论文中所涉及到的教育教学理论、所引用到的教学案例，提出的教学策略方法的创新与不足，包括论文的论点、论据和论证过程，甚至论文的正副标题、核心概念的界定等，都要做到心中有数，绝不含糊。 如是，一旦专家要你作进一步的解释与说明，你就能够有条有理、侃侃而谈，否则只能面红耳赤、无以应对。
比如在笔者答辩的提问环节，专家提出“从论文的副标题看，巧引名言的功用重心落在教师的视角方面，请你从学生的视角再谈谈看法”这样一个问题。 应该承认的是，专家一下就抓住了作者的“短板”，因为这确实是论文欠缺的地方。 专家之所以提问，倒不是故意为难，而是想通过答辩者的阐述考察他的思维的广度和深刻性。 笔者略作忖度，提出了两个方面的思考：一是巧引名言能够丰富学生的语言积累。 古人云“熟读唐诗三百首，不会作诗也会吟”，教师经常有意识的在课堂上左右逢源地“引经据典”，学生就能耳濡目染，入脑入心。 二是能够提升学生的思维能力，促进他们品德修养和审美情趣的提高。 因为名言一般都是言简意赅、含义隽永的句子，它们或给人以明理，或给人启示，或助你学习，对提升学生的人文素养和语文素养，大有裨益。这两点，其实就是阐述了“言、意”两方面的作用。
所谓“右”，这里指论文的“创新之处”。
前文已述，每篇论文不可能都是全新的创造，大都是在总结前人成果的基础上，作进一步的充实和完善而成的，所谓“比别人多走了一步而已”。 可以说，“创新之处”才是论文存在的价值所在，是论文的 CPU。 所以对一篇论文而言，“创新之处”越多，论文的质量也就越高，但对作者来说，难度也越来越高。
那么，如何答辩好论文的“创新之处”呢? 简言之就是要“突出重点”。 笔者在阐述“四大策略”时，除了详述“创生主题”之外，作为创新之处的“引发矛盾”策略也作重点阐述。 笔者以某青年名师执教《凡卡》一课为例，先引导学生充分感受凡卡写信的杂乱无章、啰里啰嗦，然后引入契诃夫的名言“简洁是天才的姐妹”， 从而引发了学生强烈的情感和思维的冲突，不但揭示了“反复”这一语言现象，而且起到了调节教学节奏和推进教学流程的作用，起到了“一石三鸟”的功效。
“凡事预则立不预则废”，“汝果欲学诗，功夫在诗外”，论文答辩若要取得好成绩，充分做好事前的准备工作必不可少。 上面介绍的五个方面，只是粗浅体会。 为了顺应口语习惯，笔者将标题命为“前后左中右”。 其实，在万事俱备之后，答辩时一般应该遵循“前———中———左———右———后”顺序更为合理。

首先，我想谈谈这个毕业论文设计的目的及意义。
写《小王子》的象征意义，是基于以下几种目的，一是让人们在看到小王子后，能够反思自己的精神处境，二是想让处在精神困境的人们走出“成人世界”与“儿童世界”的断层，去寻找使这二元世界衔接的中间道路：即既要发展物质文明，又不忽视精神文明的建设，像《小王子》的作者圣埃克絮佩里一样期盼着“小王子”的顺利回归。“小王子”的回归有助于现代经济社会真正又好又快的和谐发展。
《小王子》是圣埃克絮佩里在二十世纪喊出的口号，更是现代社会所需求的治疗精神的良药。
其次，我想谈谈这篇论文的结构和主要内容。
本设计共分四章。
第一章详细阐述象征的概念、起源及其意义，同时介绍整篇论文以象征为理论基点的意图。
第二章和第三章对《小王子》中各种原型和意象进行系统梳理，并对种种表现进行理论分析。
第四章分析《小王子》中成人世界与儿童世界产生二元对立冲突的深层原因，探讨了现代人的“迷失”与“寻找”主题，并阐述了分析“二元世界”象征意义的价值所在，以期在失去象征化的现代社会里能寻找一条人类精神回归的和谐之路。
最后，我谈谈这篇论文存在的不足。
一，论文的主题思想比较陈旧，没有写出创造性的见解，这篇童话不是一时半会能研究透彻的，随着人阅历的增长，看法应该会明显的不同，思想也会深邃的多。文学是有关人生的学问，所以平时的学习和生活的积累很重要。
二，语言表达不够规范，对与文体的学习是很有必要的。
三，每篇论文都体现了每个人的个性特点，在老师的指点下，我们都可以从中找到自己内在的.不足。
对于这篇论文，我就说到这儿。

毕业答辩是大学生们在大学里的最后一个也是最重要的一个考验，好的开始等于成功了一半，毕业答辩的开场白有着至关重要的作用。
1、自己为什么选择这个课题?
2、研究这个课题的意义和目的是什么?
3、全文的基本框架、基本结构是如何安排的?
4、全文的各部分之间逻辑关系如何?
5、在研究本课题的过程中，发现了那些不同见解?对这些不同的意见，自己是怎样逐步认识的?又是如何处理的?
6、论文虽未论及，但与其较密切相关的问题还有哪些?
7、还有哪些问题自己还没有搞清楚，在论文中论述得不够透彻?
8、写作论文时立论的主要依据是什么?
对以上问题应仔细想一想，必要时要用笔记整理出来，写成发言提纲，在答辩时用。这样才能做到有备无患，临阵不慌。
一、答辩技巧
学生首先要介绍一下论文的概要，这就是所谓“自述报告”，须强调一点的是“自述”而不是“自读”。这里重要的技巧是必须注意不能照本宣读，把报告变成了“读书”。“照本宣读”是第一大忌。这一部分的内容可包括写作动机、缘由、研究方向、选题比较、研究范围、围绕这一论题的最新研究成果、自己在论文中的新见解、新的理解或新的突破。做到概括简要，言简意赅。不能占用过多时间，一般以十分钟为限。所谓“削繁去冗留清被，画到无时是熟时”，就是说，尽量做到词约旨丰，一语中的。要突出重点，把自己的最大收获、最深体会、最精华与最富特色的部分表述出来。这里要注意一忌主题不明;二忌内容空泛，东拉西扯;三忌平平淡淡，没有重点。
在答辩时，学生要注意仪态与风度，这是进入人们感受渠道的第一信号。如果答辩者能在最初的两分种内以良好的仪态和风度体现出良好的形象，就有了一个良好的开端。有人将人的体态分解为最小单位来研究(如头、肩、胸、脊、腰等)认为凹胸显现怯懦、自卑，挺胸显示情绪高昂—但过分则为傲慢自负;肩手颈正显示正直、刚强，脊背挺拔体现严肃而充满自信。但过于如此，就会被人看作拘泥刻板保守，略为弯腰有度，稍稍欠身可表示谦虚礼貌。孙中山先生曾说过“其所具风度姿态，即使全场有肃然起敬之心，举动格式又须使听者有安静详和之气”他的这番金玉良言，对我们确实有很大的启发。
在听取教师提问时所要掌握的技巧要领是：
沉着冷静，边听边记
精神集中，认真思考
既要自信，又要虚心
实事求是，绝不勉强
听准听清，听懂听明
在回答问题时所要掌握的技巧是构思时要求每个问题所要答的“中心”“症结”“关健”在哪里?从哪一个角度去回答问题最好?应举什么例子来证明?回答问题的内容实质上是一段有组织的“口头作文”。这就要一、文章应有论点、论据。二、有开头主体与结尾。三、有条理、有
可以。这样用户不紧张，还可以向前面的人问问经验。
毕业论文答辩流程
1、自我介绍：自我介绍作为答辩的开场白，包括姓名、学号、专业。介绍时要举止大方、态度从容、面带微笑，礼貌得体的介绍，争取给答辩小组一个良好的印象。好的开端就意味着成功了一半。
2、答辩人陈述：收到成效的自我介绍只是这场答辩的开始，接下来的自我陈述才进入正轨。自述的主要内容包括论文标题；课题背景、选择此课题的原因及课题现阶段的发展情况，有关课题的具体内容，其中包括答辩人所持的观点看法、研究过程、实验数据、结果，答辩人在此课题中的研究模块、承担的具体工作、解决方案、研究结果。文章的创新部分，结论、价值和展望，自我评价。
3、提问与答辩：答辩教师的提问安排在答辩人自述之后，是答辩中相对灵活的环节，有问有答，是一个相互交流的过程。一般为3个问题，采用由浅入深的顺序提问，采取答辩人当场作答的方式。
4、总结：考生在上述程序一一完毕，代表答辩也即将结束。答辩人最后纵观答辩全过程，做总结陈述，包括两方面的总结，毕业设计和论文写作的体会；参加答辩的收获。答辩教师也会对答辩人的表现做出点评成绩、不足、建议。

比对杂志铺上标注了高中生版本的杂志，希望能有所帮助。1、《英语沙龙》（高中版）这本杂志选文方向偏好英文故事，生词可能会远多于其他杂志，拓词可用。前半本是文章，后半本是相应的译文，对照的时候可以说是相当不方便了。2、《新高考》（基础版）这个就更专业的了，有文艺的诗歌翻译、英文原著名句赏析，有语法讲解部分很适用于高考，对语法类题目、完型题大有裨益，从内容来看，同时很适合培养英语学习兴趣。3、《英语街》高考版选文风格跟高考基本上如出一辙，有文章阅读和时事热点，最后一部分还会有押题什么的。娱乐性的内容有增多迹象，一本里会有两到四篇。
我一直在看《21世纪》英语报《英语世界》也不错，文章难度适中。综合性很强。如果是为考试准备，可以买《英语辅导报》或者《英语周报》之类的。

《经济学人》是由英国经济学人集团出版的杂志，创办于1843年9月，创办人詹姆士·威尔逊。杂志的大多数文章写得机智、幽默、有力度、严肃又不失诙谐，并且注重于如何在最小的篇幅内告诉读者最多的信息，是全球阅读量最大的时政杂志之一。

认真准备了一般是容易过的。
毕业论文答辩是一种有组织、有准备、有计划、有鉴定的比较正规的审查论文的重要形式。为了搞好毕业论文答辩，在举行答辩会前，校方、答辩委员会、答辩者（撰写毕业论文的作者）三方都要作好充分的准备。
第一，要写好毕业论文的简介，主要内容应包括论文的题目，指导教师姓名，选择该题目的动机，论文的主要论点、论据和写作体会以及本议题的理论意义和实践意义。
第二，要熟悉自己所写论文的全文，尤其是要熟悉主体部分和结论部分的内容，明确论文的基本观点和主论的基本依据；弄懂弄通论文中所使用的主要概念的确切含义，所运用的基本原理的主要内容。
同时还要仔细审查、反复推敲文章中有无自相矛盾、谬误、片面或模糊不清的地方，有无与党的政策方针相冲突之处等等。如发现有上述问题，就要作好充分准备——补充、修正、解说等。只要认真设防，堵死一切漏洞，这样在答辩过程中，就可以做到心中有数、临阵不慌、沉着应战。
第三，要了解和掌握与自己所写论文相关联的知识和材料。如自己所研究的这个论题学术界的研究已经达到了什么程度?存在着哪些争议?有几种代表性观点?各有哪些代表性著作和文章?自己倾向哪种观点及理由。
重要引文的出处和版本；论证材料的来源渠道等等。这些方面的知识和材料都要在答辩前做到有比较好的了解和掌握。
第四，论文还有哪些应该涉及或解决，但因力所不及而未能接触的问题，还有哪些在论文中未涉及到或涉及到很少，而研究过程中确已接触到了并有一定的见解，只是由于觉得与论文表述的中心关联不大而没有写入等等。
第五，对于优秀论文的作者来说，还要搞清楚哪些观点是继承或借鉴了他人的研究成果，哪些是自己的创新观点，这些新观点、新见解是怎么形成的等等。

4、总结：上述程序完毕，代表答辩也即将结束。答辩人最后纵观答辩全过程，做总结陈述，包括两方面的总结：毕业设计和论文写作的体会；参加答辩的收获。答辩教师也会对答辩人的表现做出点评：成绩、不足、建议。
5、致谢：感谢在毕业设计论文方面给予帮助的人们并且要礼貌地感谢答辩教师。

在教师指导下，学生就选定的课题进行工程设计和研究，包括设计、计算、绘图、工艺技术、经济论证以及合理化建议等，最后提交一份报告。应尽量选与生产、科学研究任务结合的现实题目，亦可做假拟的题目。
