我给你写一篇。我的英语一直学的不好,自己也感到压力很大。今年放寒假后,我把别的功课放了放,重点复习英语,收获不小。归纳起来,有以下几点体会:一,英语作为一门语言,虽然学起来很难,但关键要方法得当。放假后,我把练习口语和听力作为重点,有目的的观看了四五部英语原版电影,确实在英语听说两个方面收获不小。二,要使自己的英语水平有一个大的提高,一定要突破心理障碍,大胆地说,反复地练。原来我学英语张不开嘴,所以口语就老说不好,现在经过一个假期的练习,我现在敢说了,也对学英语产生了兴趣。三,学英语,一定要把增加词汇量作为一个重点。以前听力不行,关键还是自己的词汇量不够,口语听力练习得少。通过看原版电影,我记住了许许多多生活化的语汇;英语的听力也有了一定的提高,特别是对生活类语汇和句子,记得更牢。四,英语学习就像人吃饭一样,一天三顿,不能断。只要天天坚持学习,就一定能学好。 后面,我准备从听说两个方面进行突破,是自己的英语水平在一年内有一个大的提高,不辜负老师的期望。

主要写怎么学的英语,和以后的反思

大学英语学习,可以从最简单的英文原版小说读起,通过阅读来培养语感。比如:哈利波特、神奇动物在哪里、夏洛的网、月亮与六便士等等,它们的单词、语言和叙述方式都是“入门级”的,容易上手。最好能做到每天都读几页至几十页。我阅读一般是快速阅读法。快速阅读是一种高效的阅读学习方法,其原理在于激活“眼、脑”的潜能,培养和提高阅读速度、整体感知、归纳理解、注意力集中等方面的能力,对应于阅读理解方面的帮助很大。快速阅读的练习可以参考《精英特全脑速读记忆训练》。掌握快速阅读后,可以快速的对文章的关键信息进行提取,提高做题效率和准确性,同时可节约大量的时间,做到游刃有余。做英语阅读理解的时候要注意:阅读时不要逐字逐句的翻译,也不要一句话反复阅读,即阅读时碰到一时不理解的句子就一遍一遍地沉浸在阅读那个句子当中,反复琢磨。其实完全没有必要,因为要选对答案并不意味着对原文的每个句子都要读懂,抓住一些重点句子就够了,正确的做法是,以理解整个段落和整篇文章为主,在涵盖出题点的句子上用心捉摸。跟读美剧、英剧,练习口语。在听说读写里面,国内的很多学生在“说”这一项下的功夫远远不够。很多同学找不到自己发音的问题,建议你念一段、录下来,自己听听,然后对比别人的发音,一点点纠正。如果英语基础没打好的话,就要先从发音上纠正,从字母、音标开始纠正。不断改正、练习、巩固之后再用“跟读”的办法,学习音调、语调。通过“跟读”练习最纯正的英音美音。我们完全可以把学英语当成一件好玩的事情,别光刷剧,一边刷一边练习英语才一举两得呐。找个靠谱的同伴一起练习。学英语的关键词,除了“重复”,就是“练习”。如果有外国朋友当然最好啦,如果没有,也可以和身边的朋友结成“说英语小组”。很多人觉得,俩中国人聚在一起说英语太好笑了吧,但是不去尝试,你是永远说不出来英语的。

But he also pointed to 'a structural process going on, coming from a strongly growing Chinese economy' that sucks in imports.The World Bank study could make it more difficult for the U.S. to argue for further Chinese action on its currency, especially coming on the heels of a quarter in which China ran a small trade deficit.U.S. political leaders for years have pointed to China's immense trade surpluses as evidence its currency is undervalued, and have pressed Beijing over and over to increase the yuan's value. The two countries are bound to tangle again over China's exchange-rate policy during a meeting of top Chinese economic and political leaders and their U.S. counterparts in Washington on May 9 and 10. 论文题目: 浅析游戏教学法在中职英语课堂教学中的应用

摘要: 情感因素对语言学习有很大的影响。中职学生在英语学习方面普遍存在着基础薄弱、学习动机不强等学习焦虑方面的问题,英语课堂教学因此存在着互动消极、教学反馈少、效果差的情况。游戏教学法从理论和实际效用上对于改善这种情况都是很好的应用。

英语是当今世界通用语言,我们在生活和工作中越来越多地接触、使用到英语,学好英语对于当代中职生的职业发展和个人素质的提高都是非常有益和必要的。但是实际情况是,中职生的英语基础普遍薄弱,存在不同程度的英语学习焦虑,有的中职生,由于英语基础比较薄弱,对英语失去了兴趣,出现了对英语失去信心的现象,从而导致英语课堂教学开展困难,教学效果不理想。

一、中职英语课堂教学的现状

1.教师讲授为主,师生互动为辅,学生参与度低。中职英语教学课时有限,为了完成既定的教学内容,语言知识的讲解和练习占据了大多数的课堂教学时间。师生间互动教学以教师提问,学生作答为主,学生间生生互动以课文对话的替换练习为主,形式内容单调。学生对此不感兴趣,形成了“老师讲,学生听”的单调局面。有时上课还有学生玩手机、睡觉等现象,课堂效果非常不好。

2.教材设定的情景互动内容趣味性弱,学生参与度低下。现行教材中设定的情景练习以生活类英语会话为主,如购物、就餐、问路、看病等,缺乏趣味性。中职学生处于爱玩爱闹的青春期,此类会话练习难以触动学生的兴奋点。

3.学生基础薄弱,有不同程度的英语学习焦虑。在开展课堂互动时,中职生往往沉默应对,或是消极敷衍,鹦鹉学舌,应付了事。即使教师积极地鼓励学生,这种正面的评价也很难得到学生自己的认同。

二、语言学习中的情感因素影响

语言学家斯蒂芬·克拉申(Stephen Krashen)的情感过滤假设理论(Affective Filter Hypothesis)认为,“有了大量的适合的输入的环境并不等于学生就可以学好目的语了,第二语言习得的进程还受着许多的情感因素的影响。语言输入(input)必须通过情感过滤(filter)才有可能变成语言吸入(intake)。”也就是说,情感因素起着促进或阻碍的作用。“高情感过滤会限制习得,而低情感过滤则有助于习得。”情感因素则包括动机、自信心及焦虑程度。

英语学习中的焦虑主要指学习者需要用英语这种第二语言进行表达时产生的恐惧或不安心理。Horwitz等(1986)确定了语言焦虑的三个成因:交际畏惧、考试畏惧和负面评价畏惧。在英语课堂教学中,中职生的交际畏惧和负面评价畏惧表现得非常明显。交际畏惧是指尽管语言学习者有成熟的想法和意见,但因为无法进行合理有效的语言输出引发的焦虑。要克服这种畏惧心理,要求一个轻松、愉快的学习氛围。负面评价畏惧则是指学生的自我效能感低,对自己的英语水平和能力缺乏自信心,担心无法得到肯定评价,自尊心又导致害怕接受否定评价。针对这种畏惧,一个单纯反映语言输出效果,而不加人为评价的语言环境是比较有益的。

三、注意的规律和教学游戏

无意注意也叫不随意注意,它是一种没有预定目的,也不需要意志努力的注意。引起无意注意的原因来自两个方面,一是客观刺激物的特点,二是人的主体状态。注意的规律表明:(1)那些符合人的需要和兴趣的事物,容易引起人的无意注意。(2)新颖充实、难易适当的教学内容和多样化的教学方法能保持学生的注意力。心理学的研究表明,最能引起注意的是那些既使人感到熟悉,又有些陌生的内容。而教学方法的多样化,则符合“不断变化的刺激”这一无意注意的规律,能激发学生定向探求活动,不致使定向反射由于刺激物的习惯化而消失。中职生是爱玩爱闹的青少年群体,多数喜欢做游戏,对这种形式有较高的接受度和兴趣,并且教学游戏有多种变化形式,可以提供“不断变化的刺激”,非常符合无意注意的教学规律。利用无意注意规律的教学游戏,有利于学生形成正确的学习方法和良好的学习习惯,有利于化难为易,减轻学生负担。

四、游戏教学法在中职英语课堂教学中的应用

1.游戏教学法的应用原则。

(1)目标性原则:教学游戏的设计要以教学为中心,与其密切相关。不能一味追求趣味性,而必须充分考虑教学目的、教学内容、教学要求。

(2)竞争性和协作性原则:游戏具有比赛的性质,这有助于学生克服害羞、怕说错的心理障碍;以小组的形式展开的游戏要求每个成员积极参与,为了完成同一任务互相配合,有助于克服学生的懈怠和懒惰情绪,同时培养了学生的团队精神和协作意识。

(3)层次性原则:一方面要遵循循序渐进的原则,设计一系列由易到难的游戏活动。另一方面要注意面向全体学生,根据学生的实际水平分层次地开展游戏活动,让全体学生都有机会参与,都能体验到成功的喜悦。

(4)创新性原则:根据学生的反馈和实际教学效果,不断地设计和创新新的游戏,让学生也参与到游戏的设计中来,充分调动学生的主动性和积极性。

2.游戏教学法实例。

(1)猜词游戏(词汇主题的练习)。游戏方法一:同学A对单词进行描述(Oral Description),同学B来猜测。如“It is a kind of fruit,it has green skin and red inside.”游戏方法二:用问答形式进行猜词。给出既定范围内的单词,比如交通工具类。同学A用规定的一般疑问句句型发问,如“Does the vehicle have wheels?”同学B只能回答“Yes”或“No”。两组同学分别进行,规定时间内猜出更多词汇的一组获胜。这是一种促使学生积极思维,考察学生对知识点掌握情况的好方法。

(2)传话游戏(句子的口语练习)。学生分两组,教师把课文中的好句子或使用重点短语和词汇的句子告诉每组的第一位学生,这位学生迅速口述给第二位学生,一个一个往下传,让最后一位学生说出这句话与第一位学生所说的进行比较,看哪组传话传得又快又好,准确说出的小组为获胜者。这种方式可练习学生的听说能力,且能对课文的知识点掌握得更好。这种寓教于乐的形式,很受学生的欢迎,他们思维活跃,反应灵敏,在游戏中,就学到了很多短语和词汇,这是一举两得的好的教学方式。

(3)一站到底(文化类主题的练习)。每组选出一名学生参加游戏,以抽签的方式产生一位擂主,其他同学依次进行挑战,挑战胜利者成为下一轮的擂主接受挑战,最后站在擂主位置的同学为获胜者。挑战的题目内容是与文化相关的,每个同学答题时间有一定的限制。如“When is Christmas?(圣诞节是何时?)Whatdo westerners use when they eat?(西方人用什么吃饭?)”

(4)“记忆达人”秀(以复习职业类单词为例)。教师快速呈现一组图片,其中包括职业类、食品类、运动类等,然后要求学生说出共有几幅关于职业的图片以及这些职业的单词,答出最多者为“记忆达人”。可以把学生的积极性调动起来进行比赛。答案正确,答对数量多者为优胜者,现场发“记忆达人”小红旗。也可以进行“记忆达人”挑战赛,最终获胜者,为“记忆达人”霸主,从而激发学生的积极性。

(5)单词接龙游戏。教师给出单词,如holiday,要求学生用尾字母作为首字母给出新单词,以此类推,单词不能重复。两组同学比赛,规定时间内说出更多单词的一组获胜。在此游戏中尽量鼓励学生给出新单词。这一游戏要求学生能迅速地听出前一个学生给出的单词,且对该单词的拼写要非常熟悉,这可帮助学生记忆单词,其他的学生也可锻炼听力及巩固单词的记忆。这样既可活跃气氛,又锻炼学生的反应能力,是学生喜欢的一种非常有效的接龙游戏。

五、结论

孔子曾经说过:“知之者不如好之者,好之者不如乐之者。”心理学研究表明,当一个人充满兴趣地干一件事时,创造性和主动性会得到高效发挥。他们会积极主动地去求知,去实践,并在成功的体验中收获学识增加、智力提高的乐趣和满足感,从而变得乐于学习,善于学习。实践表明,这种玩中学、学中玩的游戏教学法是中职学生乐于接受的一种情景教学方式,既可以优化中职英语课堂教学,调节课堂的学习氛围,又可以使中职学生学习和掌握知识,让学生学以致用,还可以充分调动中职学生的非智力因素和潜力,使学生改变以往消极懈怠的不良学习态度。总之,只要中职英语教师在实施游戏教学法时精心设计、运用得体,就能够提高中职学生英语学习的兴趣和效率。

【内容摘要】 今后的教学模式的发展趋势是从哲学范畴去创新课堂教学形式,在生成观视域下探索学生的心理发展,最终以课堂教学为外在形式,使学生能够形成积极的人生观、价值观。本文从“生成观”的角度来理解大学英语教学过程,对其价值导向、主体生成、生活属性等进行哲学关注,希望从理论上重新理清大学英语的教育思路,提高教学效果。

将英语课堂的视角投向大学英语教学的课堂之外,从知识的传授到学生专业技能的学习,再从专业技能到健康和谐的心理活动的生成。今后的教学模式的发展趋势是从哲学范畴去创新课堂教学形式,在生成观视域下探索学生的心理发展,最终以课堂教学为外在形式,使学生能够形成积极的人生观、价值观。

一、生成观的哲学阐释

哲学家海德格尔对生成观的解释是:最为独立的“人”的存在,不能单纯的独立于社会之外,而是将其看做是社会各自然人相互作用的结果。其本质就是将“人”看做不断生长、不断完善的一个过程的产物。从哲学的角度来理解就是每一个个体都是相互影响、相互促进的“社会性人的存在”,不再单纯将“人”看做生命机体的.存活,而是将其视为“生成性的社会存在”。在大学英语教育的过程中,从“生成观”的角度来理解教学过程就是:不再将课堂教学视为单纯的知识传授,而是要从学生的知识形成过程去分析其影响因素,从心里层面、社会角度去分析探究提高学生的成长过程。从哲学的范畴就是强调学生学习的的客观性、社会性、过程性,围绕上述几个方面展开大学英语的教育活动。也就是说,大学英语教育活动中教与学的都是在社会大背景下,相互影响、相互促进的自然过程。从辩证角度去理解教学过程,对完善教学活动,提高学生综合素质有着积极的意义。

二、生成观视域下的大学英语教学

对于生成观视域下的大学英语教学活动解读,主要体现在三个方面。一是教学互动,大学课堂不再是大学教师主导的教学活动,而是需要教师和学生、学生和学生、教师与教师之间的双向、多角度互动交流,将知识的传授变成交流互动的最终产物,这也是知识本身由来的客观性存在。二是从心理、文化、环境等多角度去分析教学影响因素,更加客观的评价教学活动。大学英语教育过程是受以上诸多因素影响的,不再单纯的去完善大学课堂教学模式。这样的体系更加客观,更能综合性的分析评定大学英语教育活动。三是辩证理解学生及教师之间的关系。之前的教学活动,大学教师是教学主体,主导学生的学习活动。

(一)大学英语的价值导向

首先,大学英语教育切合现实需求。在大学英语教育的整个过程中,大学教材的选择、课堂组织形式、教学效果评价等等都需要与当前的市场经济需求相吻合。学生在学习的过程中,可以有效的将知识与现实需求结合起来,不仅提高了学习效率,而且学习的主动性大大提高。在这样的价值背景下,现实需求不是追求短期的经济需求,而是要将眼光放远,应用更加开阔的角度来审视我们当前的英语教学过程。其次,大学英语教学合乎未来需求。在变化多端的社会活动中,要有前瞻性的眼光,对当前的英语教育活动进行必要的探究,将教育活动最大化的与现实需求进行良性互动,最终能在英语教育的过程中,提高学生知识的综合运用的能力。学生的毕业时间往往与当前的英语学习有时间上的差异,也就是说知识的学习与应用不是同时进行的,这就要求教师在组织教学活动时,对知识的未来需求有一定的前瞻性,使学习的内容合乎市场经济的未来需求。第三,大学英语教育要存些“功利心”。在当前的大学英语教学中,教学活动的组织都在考试这一指挥棒下进行,这虽然能在短期内提高学生的学习成绩,但是从根本上来讲忽略教育的本质功能,是培养学生良好知识架构和实践技能,最终能在毕业后得到合适的工作,在社会上能谋生。也就是说,我们的大学教育应该在满足成绩的需求基础上,对于学生的学习内容进行相应的创新变革,最终满足学生基本的就业需求。

(二)大学英语教学的主体生成

第一,大学英语教育中的主体之一是教师。教师在教育活动中的意义不言而喻,在传统的教育活动中,更多的是关注教师的传道授业解惑,也就是说教师能否完成本职工作,很少对教师的自身价值观念和知识架构进行评价分析。在教书育人的过程中,教师的外在形式与内心诉求有着统一性的表现。第二,大学英语教育活动的主体之一是学生。学生在学习活动中,对于知识的掌握和基本实践技能的提高都与学生自身的学习行为有着密切的联系。在生成观视域下,学生的学习活动不再是单一的个体行为,而是在社会活动的范围内完成学习过程。学生在学习过程中,应该讲自身的心理活动、学习环境、文化素质等等因素与自身的学习活动结合起来,客观性的评价自身的学习行为,最终提高自身文化素养及社会实践能力。

(三)大学英语教学的生活属性

在生成观视域下,对大学英语教学活动进行分析总结,得出教学活动本身就是自然人社会活动的缩影。大学教学活动是教师与学生互动存在的社会活动,这本很就是生活的一部分。所以在教学活动中,教师与学生之间的互动交流都要本着乐观的生活态度进行,在良好的价值观引导下,进行相应的教学活动,这样往往能够达成最初的教学目标。生成观视域下的大学英语教育实践活动要本着教与学的双向交流互动、多角度分析影响因素及尊重知识的客观存在性基础上展开教学活动的组织、策划。生成观视域下的教学活动其本质是探究知识存在的客观性,在教学活动中,学生及教师相互尊重,共同交流,在此基础上不断获取文化知识,提高社会实践技能。

摘要: 我国传统的高校英语教育偏向于应试教育,学生更多地只是为了应付考试过级,哑巴英语现象十分严重。因此,随着互联网技术的发展,高校英语教育在跨文化的视域下需要做好转型和改革。而且,高校英语教育必须适应互联网的传播方式,同时,高校英语教育还要注意互联网时代跨文化的影响。

任何语言的学习都是文化的体现,同样,对于英语的教育其实也是一种文化的体现,我国传统的高校英语教育更重视的是应试教育,导致学生实践应用能力比较差,只是为了应付考试而学习英语。而随着社会的发展,以及网络技术、电子信息技术、通信技术和互联网技术的进步,全世界已经进入到了互联网时代。在互联网时代,由于以新媒体为代表的媒体传播以快速和便捷的优势迅速影响了全世界,互联网让全世界无论身在何时何地都可以迅速地获得自己想要的资料,在此大背景下,互联网的优势逐渐显现出来,跨文化融合趋势愈加明显。区域文化和地区文化很容易随着新媒体和互联网的传播进入到任何国家,所以,高校英语教育也应该做好转型和改革,从而更好地适应社会的变化和发展,促进高校英语教育水平的进一步提升。

一、高校英语教育必须适应互联网的传播方式

互联网传播方式的特点是快速和便捷,高校英语教育是一种语言学习,而语言学习首先需要的是语言的氛围和环境的熏陶,以及多语言文化的了解。在互联网时代,高校英语教育应该有效利用互联网的优势,在帮助学生学好英语的同时,教会学生在具备多渠道和传播优势的互联网上获取自身英语学习所需要的有效资料,丰富英语教育的内容,同时还应该提高学习的趣味性和生动性。高校的英语教育可以加强人才培养方案的改革与创新,让学生多进行实践性的教学,在互联网上获取自己所需要的教学资源,并且还可以进一步强化英语教学内容和教学手段的改进。互联网的发展影响了很多人,对于高校的英语教育而言,利用互联网来进行英语教学的改革势在必行,互联网的优势在于它可以丰富教学内容和教学方法,可以激发学生学习英语的兴趣,可以调动学生学习英语的积极性,从而使学生在互联网的帮助下更好地学习英语。客观地说,互联网为高校的英语教育带来了机遇,同时也带来了挑战,一方面,互联网充实了高校英语教学的教学内容,丰富了高校英语教学的教学模式;另一方面,在一定程度上,互联网在提高高校的优质英语教学方法方面提出了挑战。

二、高校英语教育要注意互联网时代跨文化的影响

互联网时代,语言早已经成为了一种传播文化的有效工具,学习一国的语言也必须要了解一个国家的文化,随着全球的一体化发展,跨文化的思想也逐渐成为学习语言的一种障碍,尤其是高校英语教学,如果不能摈弃哑巴英语的学习方式和方法,不能在跨文化语境中有效地学习英语,就无法真正地掌握英语的精髓。因此,为了学好英语这门语言,就应该加强对英美文化的全面了解,尤其是在跨文化的过程中,要注意英美思维的融入,只有这样,才能找到英语的精髓,才能确保英语学习效率。文化的接受是一个长期的过程,跨文化视域下的英语学习和高校英语教育更应该关注学生学习的过程,尤其是如何让学生在学习过程中从跨文化的观念出发,借用互联网的优势来做好自身英语的学习。语言的学习和文化的融合是息息相关、密不可分的,对于文化的了解有利于强化语言学习,而互联网时代恰好为英语教学的发展提供了条件。在高校的英语教学中,可以通过互联网来了解跨文化背景下的西方文化,便于自身更好地掌握这门语言,并且精通这门语言的学习。

三、结语

随着教育的进一步发展,高等教育已经逐步开始了应用型教育的转型,尤其是在互联网市场上,高等教育应该与时俱进,做好高校教育的工作,英语教育亦是如此,英语教育不同于其他的高校教育,是一门跨文化背景下的语言教育,因此,想要学会他国的语言,首先需要充分了解该国的文化背景,那么,如何在互联网时代,在跨文化视域的背景下提高高校英语教学水平,培养出更多的适合社会发展的人才成为需要研究的重要问题。

Abstract: Nida, a famous translator, says, "For truly successful translation, it is much more important to familiarize two cultures than master two languages, because words are assigned meanings in its particular cultures."(Background information) This is to say, translation is closely related with not only languages but also cultures. Studies of the cultural distinction in idiom translation are still relatively weak in the field of translation in China. Exclusive research on the translation of Chinese and English idioms is still incomplete. In the last twenty years, idiom translation has mostly emphasized the level of inter-lingual communication, but cultural differences were rarely involved in it.(Identify problem) This thesis analyses the cultural differences in Chinese and English idioms, then studies English-Chinese\Chinese-English idiom translation methods(Research subject) from the angle of culture(Method) and points out some warnings concerning idiom translation: pay attention to context and choose the right version in line with the style and meaning of the original passage(Results); culture is a whole way of life, when new culture emerges, new idioms also appear, therefore idiom translation should develop with the time.(Conclusion)

论英汉文化背景下的习语翻译

摘要 :著名翻译学家奈达指出:“对于真正成功的翻译而言,熟悉两种文化甚至比掌握两种语言更为重要,

因为词语只有在其作用的'文化背景下才有意义。”也就是说,翻译不仅与语言有关也和文化有关。习语翻译中对文化差异的研究在中国的翻译领域中仍然较弱,专门对中英习语翻译的研究还不很完善。近20年来,习语翻译大多强调语际的交流,而很少涉及文化差异。本文通过分析中英习语的文化差异,进而从文化角度研究中英习语翻译方法,并指出中英习语翻译要注意的问题:联系上下文,选择与原文风格,意思相符的翻译;文化是一种生活方式,文化在变化,出现新的习语,习语翻译要与时俱进。

1. Introduction

Idioms universally exist in every language. An Idiom is a word or an expression

that cannot be literally translated from the source language into the target language because its idiomatic meaning cannot be understood by literally defining its component parts.(Background) In a broad sense, idioms contain set phrases, proverbs, colloquialisms, slangs, maxims, allusions, etc. (YinLi, 2007:9) In Chinese, they also include enigmatic folk similes. Newmark, a British translation theorist, in his work A Textbook of Translation, said, "I define as culture the way of life and his manifestation that are peculiar to a community that uses a peculiar language as its means of expression. "(Previous research) English Idioms derives from English cultures and daily life. In real context, idioms explain themselves: nine times out of ten they carry their own explanations. If we are unaware of these, we will find ourselves in a state of confusion since we will assign literal meaning to them. The Chinese Idioms, especially the four-character idioms, have their own unique origins which are closely correlative to the Chinese history and cultures. In view of the difficulties in understanding idioms, we should pay due attention and efforts to understand their cultures and customs. This thesis is designed to dig into the cultural differences between Chinese and English and then elaborates on the translation theories applied to idioms. (Subject + Method)

2. A Comparison Between English and Chinese Idioms

2.1 The Cultural Differences Between English and Chinese Idioms 2.1.1 Geographical Conditions

The formation of culture is closely related with natural geographical conditions. A specific geographical environment produces a specific culture, which also leads to a particular expression.

This is a novel by the English author Daniel Defoe, published in 1719. It is one of the most popular adventure novels in all literature. It is the story of Bobinson Crusoe, an Englishman who is shipwrecked in a lonely tropical island. He builds himself a hut, grows his own food, and becomes self-sufficient. After 23 years he meets with a group of cannibals and rescues one of their prisoners, a young native whome he calls Friday.Crusoe and his“man”Friday become close friends, and when they are finally rescued four years later, both return to England.

Robinson Crusoe was partly based on the actual deeds of Alexander Selkirk, an 18th-century Scottish sailor who spent almost five years alone on a desert island. This novel is famous for its lovely details and its expression of belief in man's ability when left alone in nature.

In order to obtain this inspiration she to give up in the sea life, she endures these pain from already the fish tail changed into a two person leg. Afterward she liked a prince, obtained a humanity's soul. That prince and the world female has married, her hope did not have. If she continues to become “the sea daughter”after must assassinate that prince, may return to her in the family member, returns to belongs to her from already world. But she does not have to do this actually from has thrown in entering the sea to change into the froth. I like "Sea Daughter". It caused me to understand the life was valuable. Must have the strong will in anticipation in any surf-ace, goes bravely facing it. In this book, I have not only known some happy stories, but also receives the very big inspiration education.

Last night, I read a moving short story named A Boy Buys God. Bondi’s parents died in his early age and he is raised by his uncle. But one day, his uncle falls down from scaffold and God want to take his life away. Bondi heard that God is an amazing thing that can save the life of his uncle. Therefore, he goes out with one dollar to buy God. But he doesn’t buy one until the 29th shop’s door opened. It’s an elderly man who is willing to help him after Bondi telling his story.

Several days later, Bondi’s uncle gets great treatment by the most outstanding doctors in the world and finally he totally recovery. In the end, he knows what saves his life—love. It’s Bondi’s pure love to him that saves his love. On the other side, it’s his love to Bondi that saves himself. Therefore, we can say that love is mutual and rewarded.

Tonight I watched the movie for the third time. I really enjoy this film so much.

But what will be your choice if the cost is laying your lover among the risks? What will it be if the cost is you can never tell the girl, who you love so much, that you love her? I really admire grandpa Santiagos tough spirit. When I read about my grandfathers fierce fight with sharks, I dont know whether I should be nervous or worried about my grandfather. However, my grandfather always sticks to the optimistic spirit to deal with some great difficulties. When I saw it, I couldnt help thinking of myself. Whenever I met some difficulties, I always felt very upset, bored, and wanted to escape from reality. If you look at Grandpa Santiago, no matter what difficulties he encounters, he never flinches, but bravely copes with them!

We should do the same in life. We should not be greedy and afraid of death. We should have confidence in ourselves. Even if we encounter many difficulties, we should never let it down. We should be brave to eliminate it.

Jane was brave. She dared to say no to Mr. Brocklehurst, cut her beautiful hair with Helen, and pull the horse for Mr. Rochester. What’s more, she dared to accepted Mr. Rochester’s love and pursuit of her own happy life. Though she said:“ Do you think because I am poor, obscure, and little. I am soulless and heartless? And if God had gifted me with some beauty and much wealth, I should have made it was hard for you to leave me, as it is not for me to leave you. In her opinion, everyone is the same at the God’s feet. God hadn’t given her beauty and wealth, but instead, God gave her a kind mind and a thinking brain. As we know, there was strict distinguish in social stratum at that time. Mr. Rochester was in the high society, but Jane was only a family teacher. They were in quite different social stratums. What’s worse, in that society,people’s sense of love was on the basis of money.For the sake of money they could marry anyone even though the husband or the wife was an idiot on their eyes,money was everything,money was marriage. So we didn’t surprise that Mr. Rochester chose Jane as his bride instead of Miss Ingrain. Because Jane was much mature and richer in soul. As a girl, I should learn from Jane. Especially in the materialistic society we should be in charge of our own fate. Don’t depend on others all the time. We should be independent .Don’t lead a luxurious life and in hope of marring a rich man, thinking that your husband would change your fate, your social position. That’s silly. As far as I am concerned, as a girl if you don’t respect and love yourself, so how do you require others to respect you? In short, we need to learn from Jane Eyre.

The old man and the sea is the work of Hemingway. Hemingway is a very unique writer. He has experienced two world wars and created a classic tough man image based on himself.

This book mainly describes an old fisherman named Santiago, who has not caught fish for eighty-four days in a row. On the eighty fifth day, he caught a big fish and dueled with the big fish for two days and two nights. Finally, the big fish was stabbed to death and tied to the ships side. But I met a shark on my way home. The old man fought with the shark to death, but the big fish was eaten up by the shark. At last, when he came back home, he only had a pair of white fish bones.

From this book, we can feel the old mans spirit of never giving in. When the old man faced the sharks, he knew that he could not defeat the sharks, but he still took out all the tools that could be used as weapons to fight with the sharks. Isnt that the noble quality we should have when facing difficulties, life and destiny?

Life is endless pursuit, it is full of ups and downs, but as long as we face it with a confident and tenacious heart like the old man, we will become the ultimate winner!

Jane Eyre, it’s one of my favorite English novels. Another one is Pride and prejudice. The two ladies, Jane and Elizabeth, are some kind of similar. Both of them are independent, long for true love, and defend against the old rules. They don’t have beautiful face, but they have beautiful minds.

When story began, Jane was a little girl living with her aunts and cousins. They didn’t like her, scolded her, treated her just like a nursemaid, and even locked her in the Red House. Later, she was sent to the Lowood School, where she met Helen, her friend. As time went by, the little poor girl grew up. Then she became a governess for a ten-year-old girl at Thornfield, where she met Mr. Rochester, her master. As a governess at Thornfield, she tasted the pleasures and pains of love. She fell in love with Rochester but had to leave him for some reasons. She found shelter at Moor House, where she focused on teaching and rejected Mr. River’s marriage. At the end, Jane returned to Thronfield after Mr. Rochester was blind. They have a quiet wedding:

“I know what it is to be love and be loved. No woman has ever been closer to her husband than I am to Edward. I am my husband’s life, and he is mine. We are always together, and have never had enough of each other’s company.”

Jane had a bad childhood, but it didn’t affect her much. She read books behind the thick curtain; she got education for eight years in poor condition; she was intelligent, sensible and wise. At the relationship with Edward Rochester, she was quite calm. The governess with her beautiful, pure and frank soul, move Edward. Rochester was rich, clever but a little weird. Jane thought she didn’t really know him and never sure whether he was serious or joking. So she kept a distance with him. Fortunately, she came across the distance and expressed her love to Mr. Rochester:

“Do you think I can watch another woman become your bride? Do you think I’m a machine, without feelings? Do you think, because I’m small and poor and plain, that I have no soul and no heart? Well, you’re wrong! I have as much soul and heart as you. It’s my spirit that speaks to your spirit! We are equal in the sight of God!”

I think when you heard of these words, you would stand at Jane’s side definitely. And that’s love I long for. In our real life, there are many examples that ladies lose themselves and become dependent after marriage. They give up their careers and the husband and kids become their center. For another instance, some ladies get married to the man they don’t love but possess a lot. They regard their husbands as ATMs. For the former, they lose themselves in marriage; for the latter, they do exchange with marriage. Besides, some graduates fall in love with others due to loneliness. You can see such lovers break up upon several months. They do not take love seriously; they do not prepare to love somebody; even, they do not know what love is and how to love. They just pretend to know.

I’ve heard the words: who is a real man? A real man is the one you stay with but you can be yourself. When I was in high school, a Chinese poem named To the Oak, impressed me a lot. I have to say, that’s the love I appreciate.

英语学习心得体会一:学习英语的感想与心得作为一个学了这么多年英语的中国学生,我的感想还是很多的,主要从下面两部分来谈。一是我学习英语的经历,二我学习英语的经验及方法。学习经历记忆中最早接触英语这门课是从小学三年级开始的。那时我们的小学刚刚从三年级普及英语教学。和大多数孩子一样,当时的我对英语可以说是一窍不通,只记得小学的课本上有很多的图片,老师布置作业就是把图片画出来,然后写上它的英文单词。例如:床(bed)、伞(umbrella)、鞋(shoots)、铅笔(pencil)之类,都是一些很基础的单词。那时的我对这些不感兴趣,倒是每次老师用录音机放磁带的时候,我很喜欢,也不知道为什么。就是喜欢读,喜欢模仿磁带里的发音。可以说,小学的我除了读,我什么都不会。上了初中,英语被当做三大主课之一。恰好的我的班主任也是英语老师。无形之中,英语变得重要起来。虽说也是从abc教起,但我刚开始的英语成绩却也平平。为了改变这一状况,我在初一下学期开始努力,每天往老师办公室跑,向她请教。课上我也积极主动发言,为此还得到了她的表扬。也就是从这时开始,我觉得我找到了英语的“门”,觉得豁然开朗了。这也成为我学习英语过程中的一个重要转折点。随之而来的,是成绩的一天天提高。在成绩的刺激下,渐渐地,我也喜欢上了这门课。当然,付出是有回报的,我收获了接近满分的中考英语成绩。这种对英语的喜爱也一直延续到了高中。刚进高中时的第一堂英语课令我印象极深。英语老师讲完课文之后,让我们retell(复述)课文的大概内容。随后一片沉默。当时觉得英语成绩还不错的我积极地举起了手,向老师讲述了这个故事。我们用英语对着话,好像全班只有我们两个在交谈。随后,老师和全班同学为我鼓了掌。也正因为如此,我顺理成章地当上了英语课代表。从那以后的一段时间里,我渐渐地把英语当做了我驾轻就熟的科目,就不那么认真地去学了,有些浮躁。不久我就得到了教训,一直引以为傲的英语成绩跌落下来。这让我认识到,脚踏实地地学习是多么重要。从那以后,我又恢复了以前学英语激情与努力并存的学习状态。上了大学,英语虽说是必修课,但课堂上老师讲的毕竟是有限的,主要还是靠自己。其实不光是英语,其他学科也是如此。而且也有了硬性要求,不过四级,就没有学位证。所以,大学对英语也不能放松。以上就是我的学习经历。学习经验总结任何一门语言,或者说任何一门学科的学习都是有技巧的。对于英语的学习经验及方法,我想从以下几个方面来谈。记第一项要记的就是单词。学语言,无疑要记很多东西。词汇是一门语言的基础。学习英语的重中之重就是词汇的掌握。有了单词,才会有句子,有了句子才会有文章,最终才能掌握这门语言。那么海量的单词,记住才是关键。方法有很多,找最适合自己的。我背单词的时候,有很多方法,最主要就是根据读音来拼写。只要记住它的读音,基本就能掌握它的拼写。特殊的情况再特殊记忆。在写单词的时候,脑子里先反映出来的是它的读音,自己根据它的读音“写”出来,而不是背出来。如果单纯地机械地背字母组合,很容易忘记。很多同学背单词都是一遍一遍地重复字母组合。比如:背单词“and”,他就会一遍遍地念and,and ,a,n,d,and我个人不主张这种方法。比如说音译、联想等等。比如这个例子:灰尘(dust)。我把它联想为“打死他”的音译,这样就很好记了。还有,根据已有的简单单词,记住新的单词。比如这个例子:知道猴子(monkey)这个单词,把“m”换成“d”就成了驴子(donkey),就变成了一个新的单词。还有很多这样的例子,在此不再列举。除了抽出专门的时间背单词,平时应该利用好琐碎的时间来学习单词,积少成多。第二,就是记一些固定的词组和搭配。每一种语言都有它自己的语言表达系统,只有记住了这些,才能把握外国人的语言习惯,才能学好英语。这些没有别的法子,只有多看多记。听听力。随着四六级考试听力比重的增加,我们也应看到英语听力的重要性。其实抛开考试不说,学语言无非要掌握“听说读写”。如果连听都听不懂,其他方面就算是学好了也没什么意义。我第一次和外国人对话是在很小的时候。其实都算不上对话。那时在北京故宫玩,走在我前面的游客掉了东西,于是我捡起来还给她,这时,听到个黑皮肤大眼睛的外国人说“thanks”。那时还小,不知道怎么回人家,只是笑笑。现在听外国人说话仍然有困难,但我一直在努力。其实英语的听力不是枯燥地听考试题就可以,相反,如果强迫自己去听,会越来越反感,最终对英语失去兴趣和信心。根据自己的程度不同我们应该选择适合自己的听力材料。平时学习累了,多看一些美剧,其实那里面的英文对白很美的。比如说《暮光之城》、《吸血鬼日记》等等。我尤其喜欢《吸血鬼日记》里女主人公的发音。她纯正的美音听起来简直是一种享受。除了英美电影,还有英文歌曲、英文广播也可以来听。当然对我们大多数人来说,BBC(英国广播电台)还是很有难度,里面大多都是政治性的观点,和中国的新闻联播相似,感觉枯燥。我选择慢速VOA,我觉得还这个比较适合我们。说对于语言来说,一个整体的语言氛围与环境是很重要的。当然,大多数的我们只能在中国学习英语,本身就缺乏英语的语言氛围。而且和外国人对话的机会也是非常有限。在这种情况下,我们就更应该多和外国人交流,哪怕是一句简单的“hello”(你好)、“How are you?”(你好吗?)。记得在中学的时候,学校也开过Eglish Corner(英语角),就是老师和同学们在一起,围绕一个话题畅所欲言。不用顾忌语法,不用顾忌句型,重要的就是开口说。但是这和真正的外国人对话是有很大差别的。虽然有外教,但是一周也只有一节,所以和她相处的时间非常有限。所以,从高中开始,只要见了外国人,我就会在恰当的时候和他们对话。记得有一次,我在商场选手表,旁边有三四个白人,也在看手表,他问售货员“How much?”(多少钱?),售货员一愣,在旁边的我忍不住就当了翻译,告诉她,那个外国人在问价钱。而后我又简单地和那个外国人聊了几句,得知他们来自德国,来这里是参加一个会展。虽然他们没买那块表,但是临走时还是给我道谢。当时心里挺激动的。那以后,我和外国人交流的次数越来越多,有的问路,有的在超市找他们想买的东西,虽然都是简单的几句话,但是看到自己能为他们提供帮助,所学的英语终于有了用武之地,心里还是暖暖的。于是自己也就越来越喜欢说英语,即使词汇量有限,语法不甚规范,只要开口说了,对自己来说都是很大的进步。读多读英文读物也是重要的方面。现在的阅读题目在各类考试中都占了很大的比重。中学的时候订阅了各种英语学习的报纸,除此之外,还买来英语广场等等读物来读。多读书可以巩固自己学过的知识,而且还可以学到比课堂中更丰富更地道的英语。朗读出来也能练习自己的发音。古人说:“书读百遍,其义自见”,可见读的重要性。写写是一项综合的考核。它是词汇、短语、句型等等的综合应用,可以说要求是比较高的。所以,平时除了要把单词记准确意外,还要有一定量的句型和短语。然后在考试的时候,恰当地运用到作文当中。除此之外,多看一些美文,也可以提高自己的写作。针对考试,还有一项要求,那就是字体的工整。一篇内容平平但字迹工整的作文往往比一篇内容丰富字迹潦草的作文更能得到老师的青睐。运用多种管道学习英语是一门活的语言,光在课堂上听老师讲授是远远不够的。这就要靠我们通过多种管道学习。除了前面提到的美剧和歌曲外,我还尤其喜欢看中央电视台每年的希望之星英语大赛。虽然我的水平远不如他们,但我会努力。还有一档介绍中国美食的英语节目,让你轻轻松松地就能记住英文搭配。当然,这一切都是以兴趣为前提的。如果对英语不感兴趣,从心里抵触它,那是不可能能学好的。以上就是我学习英语的一点心得体会。仅仅是个人的一点拙见,有不当的地方请老师批评指正。

Reading the old man and the sea About the author Ernest Hemingway, one of the greatest American writers in 20th century, is the representative of “lost generation” writer. Hospitalized, Hemingway fell in love with an older nurse.

Here Hemingway recasts , in strikingly contemporary style, the classic theme of courage in the face of defeat , of personal triumph won from loss . In my opinion,learning English is like a bridge to munication.When we are in the other country,we cannot only speak our mother language.So,English which is the language used to spoken all over the world,can help us a lot.I love learning English ,because it also can be use to talk to my clas *** ate when mom is with me but I do not want her listen to me.I love learning English becuse in the English world ,there are always various knowledge,happiness,culture,history and,so on.I love English ,which is the idea for me ablout English.。

英文写作是生在英语考试中最薄弱的一环。同学花了的和精力,却很难在项上。比方说,每天用小时来练习,一段以后,的速度和度都的;然而,每天用小时来写作,每次写的作文质量不太大的差异。可以说,在写作上的练习是一项投入产出低的工作。事实上,写作也有的技巧,技巧不所,原因在于:写作的技巧程度上从考试题目本身来得出,需要对英文文章的学习和总结得来,即功夫在题外。笔者在英语写作几点心得。

一、要善于模仿

对大多数学习英语的同学,英语的词汇量、句式的积累还极其有限,远用英文流畅,挥洒自如的境地。在创作是不合时宜的,非要,写出“long time no see”的文字来。,模仿是的必经途径。

谈到模仿,同学的办法背一堆范文,再到考场上“剪切”、“粘贴”的工作,可想而知。这真正意义上的模仿,充其量算是默写课文。如何模仿呢?

模仿的要。模仿的永远要的句式结构上,而非各类的词汇。道理很简单:词,文章内容的变换,就用了;而句式结构是放置四海而皆准的东西,适用的范围广,学来对写作的帮助也就。

模仿的要地道。像新概念英语的教材就了原汁原味的英语法。盲目文章学习,记不中不洋的句子,以讹传讹,浪费。

最后,模仿要体动笔上。比如说,新概念册有句式说:“…for the simple reasonthat…”表示某种的原因是,用在英语考试中,就可以拿来解释为自行车在的流行,为:“The bicycleis very popular in China for the simple reasonthat…”。然而,同学经常背了句式不用,一谈到原因仍然是“…because…”,等等。

二、要灵活变通

在批改英语作文的过程中,经常能将中文生硬地翻译成英文的法。中英文的差异和词汇量、法积累的,难于的是的。关键在于如何。有话叫做“立志如山,行道如水”,套用在上就很合适。写英文作文,要有决心把它写好,有信心把意思,“立志如山”;但关键是遇到时要灵活的,能像流水变通解决。

翻译界的故事说:在某大型国际会议的招待会上,一道菜是用鸡蛋做的。与会的客人问翻译:“What is it madeof?”本来是非常简单的,结果翻译太紧张,“egg”词,他急中生智,回答:“It is made of MissHen's son.”这里,灵活变通的范例。绕道,是写作中应该常常运用的方法。

三、要细心观察

要写好英语作文,还要敏锐的目光细心地观察,英语中上的习惯。

比如说,在正式文体的写作中,用 “it isn”t”的略缩形式,而是一板一眼地写作 “it is not”。同理,在正式文体中的日期不缩写,阿拉伯数字英文(长的数字除外)。

再比如说,翻翻新概念册所课文,会一段文章的段首句转折时,转折词However都句子结构中的部分,以插入语的形式。原因,是段落一开始就用转折词,会时转折较生硬、突兀。

最后,同学在写作文时,习惯于把 “since” “because”“for”的词句首原因状语从句。事实上,在见到的英语报刊杂志文章中,的从句主句的。, “and”也常常被误话的,表示句子的并列或递进关系。其实,经常留心地道的英语文章能,是并列关系,完全可以不用连词;是递进关系,用 “furthermore” “what is more”更为。

四、要心有全局

英文写作强调形式上的严谨性,是全丝丝入扣。写作时结构意识,应试写作就简化填空的过程了。框架万变不离其宗,地填如观点、素材,文章就而然地立了。

了英文写作中的练习技巧,会使英文写作的努力有更大的收益。
