Learning British English by listening to podcasts is not at all easy. In fact it is more difficult for most students than reading, or writing. The problem comes mostly from different sounding voices and different accents. There is a huge range of English accents and a world of difference between the soft, carefully spoken English of southern England and the fast, slurred, harsher spoken English of a northerner, or Glaswegian accent (native of Glasgow, Scotland.) A teacher in a classroom may speak slightly slower than usual and the student may interrupt and ask for clarification or repetition, but with a podcast, that's not possible. A natural sounding podcast may have several different voices speaking and interacting. Their voices, accents and dialects may be new to the student and the words may be spoken very fast. It takes a lot of practise to listen carefully and understand and it may sometimes sound like a completely different language. There is pressure on the student to understand quickly and this can be even worse if the listening test is part of an examination like IELTS, PET, or any CAE testing. There may be questions afterwards that the student needs to be able to answer and understand. This adds up to a lot of pressure. There are many ways of making this easier but practise is the only real solution. Listening to English announcements at railway stations, bus stations and airports, listening to radio and watching television will help the student to get used to different English voices and accents. Other excellent ways to learn are via telephone if a tutor can be found who will allow short conversation lessons over the telephone a few times a week to keep up essential English practise. Speaking on the telephone is very stressful for most students because the sound may be a little distorted and they don't have a written text to refer to. First of all, I really want to be a teacher, so during the four years, I have read many books about how to become a good teacher. The year 2014 represents the 22”^ anniversary of Angela Carter's death. In those twenty-two years, her works have been widely taught internationally and brought about much critical debate. In a survey conducted by Cristina Bacchilega and Danielle M. Roemer [2],Carter is one of the most commonly taught women writers on North American programs. Firstly, I am very interested in the study of ambiguity. Ambiguity is a common phenomenon in all natural languages. Secondly, I have read several articles about ambiguity written by linguistics and scholars. I found my knowledge of ambiguity is very limited, superficial and nonsystematic. What I knew is just the tip of the iceberg. So I plan to learn more about ambiguity by this research.

In every broad type, I respectively list some detailed branches and cite some vivid English and Chinese examples to explain these ambiguity phenomena. But I put more focus on the third part and point out two differences of ambiguity between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity.

在初中英语教学中，普遍存在这样一个问题，即学生在学习过程中，虽然掌握了较多的语言知识，但是交际能力却没有得到有效地培养，听、说、读、写“四会”能力较差。造成这种状况的原因是多方面的，其中一个重要的原因是传统的英语教学法与学习语言的规律相悖。本文试图结合自己的异步教学实践，探讨初中英语教学中的听说训练。
一、听说训练准备中的异步教学
1.提前进行语音教学
在中小学阶段，系统讲授音标知识有助于学生学习记忆单词。学生要记住一个单词，首先要会读。所以音标教学显得尤为重要。本人在预备教材教学时，就尝试打破教材编排顺序，先把每个模块后的音标集中教学，再在以后的单词教学中分散认读，让音标和拼读练习在单词教学中反复呈现。在学生掌握一定量的单词后，要求他们通过观察单词的发音和拼写归纳读音规则，使学生逐步形成听音拼词、见词读音的能力。
2.培养和提升学生自学的能力
教师要逐步改变每上新课之前把学习的生词一个一个写在黑板上，再逐个讲解，反复领诵的传统教法。而是让学生自学，具体办法是：学生先听课本录音磁带，自己给生词注音、拼读、记忆、模仿试读。然后老师再进行指导，个别检查学生的发音、读音，重点指导差生，对好生逐渐提出难度较大、辐射面较广的要求。这样学生学习个体化，教师指导异步化得以有效地统一，使每个学生都学有所得，逐步培养学生的自学能力，为后来逐步过渡到句型、对话、课文的自学打下基础。上述这一教学过程，开始必须专门在课堂上进行强化训练，逐步地要求学生拿到课外学习中去完成，以便有更多的课内时间来进行听说实践。
3．向学生传授听说技巧，培养良好的听说习惯
初中学生听说能力的提高，是与良好的听说习惯是分不开的。初一学生对听说英语仍然保持着浓厚的兴趣与好奇，但是听说方法不对，久而久之会使这种兴趣与好奇心随着难度的加大、词汇量的增多而丧失，最后就厌学、弃学。因此从初一第一节课开始，这就注意培养学生听说的良好心理素质。比如听的时候心要静，不要怕听不懂而过度紧张；说的时候一定不要怕羞，要大胆开口，并要求学生在说时，根据所说的内容辅以动作、表情等。并要求他们在课外尽量用学过的英语与同学、老师或家长交谈，并养成习惯，成为自动化的技能。
二、初中英语教学中听说训练的具体做法
牛津教材每个单元都包括Comic strips等九大部分。在教学中，要灵活地把它们融合在一起，使学生学得轻松有趣，享受牛津教材所带来的成功感。
1．扎扎实实过好语音关
牛津教材的词汇量多，有助于学生的语言表达。要熟练地掌握这些单词，则一定要让学生系统地掌握好单词的读音规则与拼读技巧。这就要求在教学中，首先要强化语音训练，促使他们尽快突破语音关，为以后的英语单词的学习扫清障碍。具体做法：用8—10课时时间，从26个字母着手，让学生彻底分清元音字母与辅音字母，元音音素与辅音音素的划分；分清音节的概念，掌握音节的拼读，从而扎扎实实地培养起学生自学单词的能力，树立学好英语的信心。
2．生词教学词组化，语句化
人们在表达时，常常用到的并不是单词，而是固定搭配和句子。在教学时，把单词词组化、短语固定化、句型具体化，使学生既学会了单词，又掌握了语言的运用能力，扩大了词的外延，提高词的使用频率，对听说教学很有帮助。
3．结合实际，注重听说和探究能力
牛津教材要求教师在备课时要善于结合教学实际的需要，灵活地、创造性地使用教材，使之为教学服务。以8AUnit1为例，笔者把第一课与第三课融为一体进行教学，先让学生看着卡通画带着下列问题去听Eddie和H obo之间的对话(练习听的能力)。 What are they talking about?Who is hungry? Can he eat some food?
通过这此问题的回答，从而引入本单元的学习课题： Friends。Guess： Can Eddie give Hobo some pizza? Why? Teacher： Eddie and Hobo are friends, they can share lots of things, such as the food. I believe everyone here has some friends, what do you think of your friends?
因为Friends是我们身边的人，Friends所经历的事就是我们身边的事，所以学生听和说的欲望都非常强烈，问答完毕之后，教师把表达Friends的要点板书呈现(学key words)，然后再让学生把这此散珠穿成线，练习说的能力。这种通过“听——说——学——说”的反馈过程是练习听说的最有效的方法之一，这种方法符合初中学生的认知水平，能充分激发学生的学习兴趣和学习动机。当听说训练过后，让学生再去探究。
重视“Reading”教学。牛津教材中每单元的Reading都有承前启后的作用，也是一单元的核心所在。通过Reading，教会学生如何分析文章，如何写作，如何谈论话题，表达自己的观点。笔者采用的方法是“听——读——说——写”。先让学生带着较简单的问题，逐段去听，掌握每段的大意(培养听力)；再让学生带着较难的问题去读(培养分析句子的能力)；读过后，用keywords把全文简述出来(培养说的能力)；最后落实到笔头上(培养对词法，句法的掌握能力)。学生学会了分析文章，激发出学生的写作兴趣，同时也巩固所学的语言点。
建议：教师可以在“Reading”教学完成后，从网上或报刊上收集一些符合学生口味或迎合时代潮流的文章，让他们课后阅读，扩大知识面，培养阅读能力和阅读兴趣。
4．重视语法教学
牛津教材重视听说读写的同时，也不轻视语法教学。每单元都安排了课时进行语法训练，它以“举例——归纳——操练”这三个步骤，呈现给学生，条理清晰，并且配有图片，形象生动，学来有趣。笔者在教学时采取“学生观察——教师指导——学生归纳——师生一起总结——训练巩固(举一反三)”这样的步骤进行教学，收益菲浅。学生觉得英语语法不难学，作业的错误率也很低。
教材越改越新，越改越实用，但要求也越来越高。只有不断学习、更新观念、提高教学能力，才能在教学过程中灵活地、有创造性地使用好教材。
三、多为初中学生创造练习听说的机会
学生除在课堂上尽量给学生创造语言实际的环境外，本人还充分利用课前和课外可能的时间，让学生练习听说。
1.进行课前三分钟“Free talk”
上课开始的三分钟“Free talk”，是在师生之间共同进行的，所谈内容一般是前一课的知识，或者也有一些学生感兴趣的时事新闻，逐步过渡到由学生说说一句话新闻，讲故事或说笑话，然后老师再根据所讲的内容提几个主要问题由其他学生回答，这样听和说得都到了训练。
2.创设课外活动
初中英语课外活动，是整个英语教学过程的一个有机组成部分。它和课堂教学是紧密相连，是使学生掌握外语所不可缺少的辅助形式。它不但能巩固加深、扩大课堂上学的知识，而且有助于培养学生学习英语的.兴趣。
课外活动形式多种多样，比如组织兴趣小组，举办英语听说竞赛，开英语班会等。英语晚会形式比较多样化，可以由学生唱英语歌、表演节目、讲故事、朗诵小诗等。课外活动的内容要密切结合教学，由学生自编，教师审阅。这样的活动适合学生的水平，使学生能在语言运用上得到提高，在能力上得到锻炼。
有教师说英语课堂异步教学难以实现很到位的听说训练，这是因为教师过分强调了学科特点，没有把英语教学的特点与异步教学理论有效地结合起来。我们的教学实践证明，异步教学是加强学生听说训练，培养“四会”能力的有效途径。

二、初中英语教学中的听说训练改进措施
(一)创造良好的英语学习氛围
提高初中英语教学中的听说训练，首先要创造良好的英语学习氛围，坚持“Speak English every day",培养学生对英语的自然运用，使其养成对英语的使用习惯。教师应保证课堂教学英语化，即在英语课堂上师生尽量完全使用英语，从而潜移默化地培养学生的英语语感，并根据具体教学情况增加难度，例如上课问好时，可以从一开始的“Goodmorning, students"，转变为提问式的“How are you guys re-cently?”以提高师生互动。
同时，应合理安排教学课时，留出英文歌曲、电影欣赏课时。教唱一些简单的英文歌曲，既能够激发学生的学习兴趣，又提高了学生的听力和口语水平，教材上的“The num-her son扩等较为简单，如学生接受较好，可以适当添加课外内容，如“DoReMi'’等。同样的，对于原文电影的欣赏，能够在提高学生英语听力水平的同时增加学生对于英美国家的常识了解，培养学生审美水平。
(二)鼓励学生“多开口”

论文摘要：听、说、读、写是学习和运用语言所必须具备的思想语言基本技能，而听和其它三项能力相比较起来，在日常生活中所占的比例最大，在英语教学中，英语听力能的高低对英语教学的成果有着直接的影响。本文旨在对初中学生英语听力能力提高的方法进行研究，主要提出了培养学生良好的心理素质、帮助学生正确发音、创造良好的听力训练氛围以及强化对学生学习策略的指导这四种方法，具有一定的现实意义。 一、培养学生良好的心理素质 英语学习对不同性格和不通智力的初中学生来讲，有着完全不同的感受，这就要求教师在英语听力的教学过程中，要注重因材施教，对不同的学生采取不同的教学方式，从而来使学生对英语充满着自信心。新的英语教材所设计的各种各样的听力测试内容，不免会使学生感到心理压力很大而产生退缩心理，这样，学生在焦虑中必定无法听清楚听力测试的内容，这就要求广大的教师在实施英语听力教学的过程中，要能够对学生进行适当的心理调试工作，及时帮助学生摆脱顾虑、消除紧张，教会学生进行自我调整，让学生能够做到自信且放松的和别人进行交流，在交流中进行听力的训练。另外，在平时的英语教学中，教师要对学生自尊心和自信心的维护进行重视，对学习过程中学生所取得的各种进步进行及时的鼓励和肯定，让每一个学生都能够形成良好的心理素质，从而在英语听力学习中时刻充满信心。 二、帮助学生正确发音 在初中英语教学中，有很多词的读音十分相近，但是其意思却是截然不同的，就像cure和kill，这两个词听上去其实差不多，但是前者是治愈的意思，后者却是杀死的意思，我们可以设想一下，当一个医生在对病人说我会治好你的病，也就是I’llcureyou，但是如果这个医生发音并不是很准确的话，病人很容易就听成I’llkillyou。事实上，这两个词所差的只是一个音素。 对于初中学生来讲，他们正处于英语学习的初级阶段，其在发音上具有很强的可塑性，所以，这一阶段帮助他们进行正确的发音是十分关键的。那么，在刚开始的教学中，教师可以从舌头的摆放位置以及气流的发出等等方面来进行讲解，反复不断的练习，直到每一个学生都能够发音准确为止，只有在一开始让学生学会正确发音，才能够为学生后续的听力学习打下坚实的基础。 三、创造良好的听力训练氛围 课堂教学是学生听力能力培养的主要途径，教师在课堂上要做好表率作用，尽量多说一些准确、易于理解并且学生都能够知道的英语，尽量避免用汉语来组织教学，始终坚持用英语来组织教学，从而来让学生尽可能的和英语更多的接触。比如教师在组织教学的过程中要说“每天的”的时候，就可以用dailyreport来代替汉语“每天的”，这样，不仅能够锻炼自己说的能力，而且也培养了学生的听力能力。在课后，教师可以让学生在相互之间打招呼的时候用自己学过的英语来进行，并可以适当的进行一下简单的交流对话。通过这样创设良好氛围来进行英语听力的训练，让学生拥有更多的机会来接触英语、体验英语，对学生的听力能力自然而然有很大的帮助。 四、强化对学生学习策略的指导 （一）泛听和精听相结合来全面提升学生的听力能力 泛听指的是一种不受限于细节，而是在于了解大体意思的听力活动，它所注重的是听力练习中的“量”，其主要目的不是要让学生对听力的内容进行全部的理解，而是要对学生从整体中捕捉信息的能力以及逻辑思维能力进行培养，它能够使得学生的视野变得开阔，使学生对英语的感知能力得到提高。也就是说，泛听所要解决的是宏观的问题。 精听指的是根据考试听力的模式来进行的一种听的活动，它能够使得学生对考题的风格进行熟悉，对解题技巧进行掌握，它所解决的是专项的训练，是一种纵向的发展，所以，在进行听力内容的选择上，最好要选择一些教学录音以及富有故事情节的短文。在精听的过程中多需要注意的是：一是某些单词的弱读。在听力朗读的过程中，有些介词会弱读，比如of，本身这里的字母o的发音适合单词dog中的o的发音是相同的，但是往往会把它弱化成为和单词policeman中的o的发音，而字母f的发音也常常不发[f],而是发[v]。所以，在对学生进行精听材料的训练时，一定要让其学会把弱读单词听出来，并把它们的发音规则予以掌握。二是某些单词的连续。在精听的过程中，当学生听到一些生词的时候，有时会觉得好像是某一个单词，但是又不像是地名以及人名什么的，而且在字典中也找不到，这时，学生就应该要考虑是不是两个或者两个以上的单词的连续，比如单词notatall，在听的时候学生很容易觉得这是单词notatal，但是这词在字典中是找不到的。三是某些单音节的单词。对于很多多音节的单词来讲，学生很容易能够听出来，但是单音节的单词就不同，就像is，have，it等等，这些词只有一个音节，再加上其发音的时间也比较短，所以，就很容易受到忽略，那么，在精听的时候，就要把这些单音节的单词作为重点。当弱读、连续以及单音节的问题得到解决之后，所要做的就是头脑要和单词能够同步，也就是说，当听到一个单词的时候，头脑中要能够立马出现这个单词的中文意思。 泛听是精听的基础和前提，而精听则是泛听的一种深化，多以，在进行学生听力训练的时候，必须要能够把泛听和精听进行有机的结合，并进行交替练习。 （二）教会学生一定的听力技巧来提高其听力能力 结合标题来进行听力材料的预测。这就要求学生要善于用自己所拥有的知识来把听力材料的大概内容进行一下猜测，然后，教师可以让学生把他们所猜测的内容说出来。 结合材料后面的练习题目进行猜测。在上一步的基础上，通过对材料后练习的快速浏览，来让学生对听力材料中的一些线索进行掌握，并结合上一步的猜测，来使学生的猜测更为准确。 听短文时要做到把整篇短文都听完。在学生听短文的过程中，切不可因为个别的单词或者是句子就匆匆答题，主要的线索往往都是在结尾的地方的。 进行简单的记录。教师要让学生在听的过程中学会边听边记录，特别是要把听到的数字以及比较词记下来。 总之，英语听力能力的培养是一个循序渐进和反复实践的过程，学生英语听力能力的提高并不是一朝一夕的事情，只有在师生的共同努力之下，坚持不懈地反复练习和实践，才能够使学生的英语听力能力得到不断的提高。[1]骆志芬《初中听力教学中的几个误区及对策》(《中小学外语教学》)
听是人们进行语言交际的重要手段，是学习英语的重要途径之一。加强学生的听力训练，提高学生的听力理解水平，已经受到广大英语教师的高度重视。而近半数的学生认为目前英语学习中最困难，考试后最没有把握的还是听力理解。因此，提高学生的听力能力已成为初中英语教学的重要目标之一。 一、影响听力的几个因素 1.语言基础知识。听力理解的过程是人们运用各种知识和技能的过程。在听的过程中，学生对语言基础知识掌握程度的高低，决定了听力理解及反应速度的差异。一般而言，学生在以下方面存在困难。 语音障碍：由于长期读不准单词发音，特别是发音相近的词，因而导致学生不能正确辨别一些容易混淆的单词，如sheep—ship，much—march， mouth—mouse，here—hair，thirteen—thirty等。另外，不完全爆破、意群、连读、弱读、重读、重音转移等语音语调的变化，也让学生无所适从。 词汇障碍：词汇量在英语学习中起着至关重要的作用，它是一切训练的基础，听力也不例外。听力理解中的每个对话、语篇都由句子组成，而句子的基本单位是词和词组。在听的过程中，我们即使能听出发音，但如果不能与词联系起来，也无法得知语句的意义。因此，词汇量的大小在一个侧面决定了听力理解的程度。 语速障碍：有些学生习惯了教师上课时较慢的语速，当遇到正常语速或语速稍快的听力材料便无法适应。 英美英语语音差异障碍：英美英语除了在词汇上的差异外，在读音上也不完全相同，有些读音甚至差别很大。学生应了解美音的基本发音特点，避免听力出现障碍。 2.文化背景的差异。语言是文化的一种表现形式，由于历史背景的不同、地域的差异等多种因素，以汉语为母语的民族与以英语为母语的民族思维方式必定有所区别。因此，学生必须具备一定的英美历史的语言文学知识，还必须了解一些英美国家人民的生活习惯、文化背景等。初中生由于缺乏这方面的知识，听力理解便会产生一定的困难。 3.心理因素。听力理解能力不仅与语言知识掌握程度有关，与听者的心理素质也有密切的关系。当人的情绪处于紧张焦虑的状态时，就会产生恐惧心理。所以当学生以这样一种状态去听时，就会使原来可以听懂的内容也大打折扣。因此在平时训练时，教师必须注意采取适当的策略，缓解学生的心理压力。 二、提高学生听力能力的几点建议 1.训练学生听力与日常教学有机结合。在课堂上要尽量创造语言环境，培养学生听的习惯。教师在课堂教学的各个环节都应尽量使用英语，尽可能让学生多听英语，培养听的习惯。在安排课时进度时，可以利用刚开始时的三五分钟听一些相关的复习材料或新课的材料，锻炼学生听的能力；充分挖掘和利用教材中的听力材料，使精听与泛听相结合；利用好与教材配套的听力材料，如《同步听力》等，持之以恒地对学生进行听力训练。 2.注重语言知识的训练。一要严格把好音标关。音标基础的好坏决定了语音语调的好坏，打好语音基础，对学生听力水平的提高会起到事半功倍之效。读不准就听不懂，必然会影响语义的理解。二要引导学生正确记忆单词。词汇是所有英语知识的基础，词汇量是一切训练的基础。因此要注意引导学生积累单词，扩大词汇量。三要让学生突破语音知识关。英语语音知识包括六个方面的内容：不完全爆破、意群、连读、音的同化与失音、句子重音及语调。另外，还应尽量掌握英音与美音的差别。突破语音知识关的办法是：认真听，注意模仿，用心记忆，并跟教师或录音机进行校正，坚持反复训练和检测。 3.加强听力技能的培养。第一，对于初学者来说，最重要的一种听力技能是辨音。教师可以先让学生听单音，随着能力的提高，再逐步上升到句子、对话或短文。在听的过程中，学生会对英语的语音、语调、语流产生感性认识。第二，获取主要信息的能力也是一种重要的听力技能。在听力训练中，要培养学生去除冗余信息、选择主要信息的能力，引导学生整体把握听力材料的大意。在平时教学中，可以采用精听与泛听相结合的方式。如教学 Reading时，可以让学生先听大意，用三言两语来概括总结其要点或主要信息，然后精听，使学生了解有关的细节。第三，要重视培养学生的预测能力。在听力训练前，可以通过提问相关的问题或介绍背景知识等，启发学生的思维。这样可以使学生带着问题和任务，积极主动地投入到听力训练活动中。 4.培养良好的心理素质，提高心理承受能力。保持良好的心理状态，对学生的听力理解能力有着巨大的影响。首先，在训练时遵循循序渐进、由浅入深的原则，所选材料可以由词到句，再到文章。其次，要有的放矢地制订听力训练计划，让学生在心理上有足够的准备。这样在遇到听不懂或没有听到的内容时，可以果断处理，不至于影响后面的答题。 5.将听力教学和其他教学相结合。语言技能包括听、说、读、写四方面的技能，以及这四种技能的综合运用能力。听读是理解的技能，说写是表达的技能，这四种技能在语言学习和交际中相辅相成、相互促进。因此，教师应将听力训练与其他技能训练有机结合起来。在听前的活动中，可以让学生阅读，预测听力材料的内容，进行词汇语法的练习。在听的过程中，可以要求学生做记录，锻炼学生做笔记的能力。在听后的活动中，可以组织学生进行适当的词汇语法练习或写作等活动，加强学生对听力内容的理解。
语音教学，打好基础语音是英语基础知识之一。要提高英语听力水平，从语音基本知识抓起。突破语音知识关，强化音标学习，打好语音基础，尤其七年级的英语教师要对学生强化语音练习，英语语音知识主要包括：不完全爆破、意群、连读、音的同化与失音、句子重音及语调，掌握辨别单词中的长、短元音、辅音、辅音连缀，辨认句子中的重读、弱读、连读和语调，每天不断的反复，不断的让学生看到，听到各种音标，长此以往，学生会有一种身临其境的感觉，对语音知识不陌生，能正确理解所听单词、词组和句子的意思；另外，词汇量的大小和语法知识不牢固也将会直接影响听力理解效果。加强与学生的情感交流，消除听力材料恐惧感有些听力水平较差的学生对听力缺乏信心，总觉得听力很难，一听就怕，越怕越听不懂，因而出现慌乱现象，尤其在听力材料本身语速快或噪音太多的情况下，更加进入角色，最终导致大脑获得信息的能力降低，甚至听到最后大脑一片空白，有些听力较好的学生，在听简单的内容时掉以轻心，粗枝大叶，而在听较难的内容时又显得异常焦虑不安，影响听力；这些情况，在平时教学中，应该注意与学生加强情感交流，积极他们，帮助他们打破思维定势，排除心理障碍，激发他们的自信心；上课时，以一种很和蔼的姿态出现在他们的面前，眼神、表情、手势等身体语言给他们信息，消除他们的紧张心理；此外，在选择听力材料时，坚持由浅入深、宁易勿难、宁短勿长的原则，让他们更多地体会成功感，从根本上消除它们的恐惧感，摆脱心理障碍，增强自信心。

我用的是老师给我建议的软件背单词的，里面有教材同步词汇的，发音清晰，单词可以设定依次循环播放，完全不用联网的，电脑版和手机版都有的，叫做角斗士我爱背单词9（注意一定是角斗士系列的flyenglish），词库真的很全，有各种教材和分类的词库，还可以自建词库，还可以每天自己决定背多少个，软件能够自动提醒该复习的词汇，这样反复复习就记住了，而且还能把单词制作成mp3文件来听，北大老师制作的，这个是角斗士系列的，十大品牌的，你去淘宝找一下就有的。
我们自己用的是小飞机英语这个手机软件，因为老师要在上边给布置预习任务。上边可以听的到课文的发音，单词的发音及其翻译还有课后习题的听力音频。还可以自己在家听写，（原一位丢了英语几年的老阿 姨不会标准的念英语）
