因为英文文献对起止码没有统一要求，所以有的有，有的没有。每个英文期刊的标注方式也不一样，有的只有卷号没有期号，而国内期刊卷号和期号都有。而已经投稿成功但没有正式发表出来的论文，都有一个DOI号，没有卷号和页码，也是可以在数据库中查到的。文献是指有历史意义或研究价值的图书、期刊、典章等，是科学研究和技术研究结果的最终表现形式，是人们获取知识的重要媒介。

卷号就是标志为Vol【】，【】里面的是卷号。你举的例子，3期是期号，100期是总期号
