《生物医学工程学杂志》于1984年3月创刊，现为双月刊。本刊由四川省科学技术协会主管，四川大学华西医院、四川省生物医学工程学会主办。本刊作为生物医学工程学综合性学术刊物，主要反映生物工程、医学工程、人工器官、生物材料、生物力学、计算机在生物医学中应用等方面的最新科研成果和科技动态。它适合多学科性科研、教学、生产及科技管理人员、相关专业研究生、本科生、医院与广大对生物医学工程学的爱好者。客观的说这本杂志是国内生工方面很不错的核心，认可度挺高的。但这是双月刊，审查和发表周期正常情况是半年左右。
