环境类很权威的应该就是Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T)，还有Environment International (EI)也是一区TOP期刊。WaterResearch (WR)是水领域的顶级，而Atmospheric Chemistry And Physics (ACP)是大气领域的顶级，Soil Biology & Biochemistry（SBB）为土壤类的Top。此外，像Carbon, Scientific Reports, Journal of Hazardous Materials (JHM), Langmuir, Bioresource Technology (BT), Analytical Chemistry (AC), Environmental Pollution (EP), Chemosphere等，虽不是顶级，但都是很优秀的期刊。
公认的为JACS(Journal of the American Chemical Society, 美国化学会志) 和ANGEW(Angewandte Chemie International Edition 德国应用化学）
