1. 缺少外文文献。文献综述中,外文文献必须占有重要比重,这是论文研究前沿性的保障,同时也是期刊国际化转型的考虑。但作者常常反馈说,因为个人英文阅读能力不足,或者不清楚国内某一名词对应的英文翻译是什么,导致论文引用英文文献的数量偏低。比如作者研究美国音乐学派与人类学派思想的比较,但文章引用的大部分是中文和日文文献,这就会受到审稿专家的质疑,“既然你研究的是美国,为何都没有一手英文文献”?再如,有作者研究“农村家庭承包责任制改革对乡村振兴背景下农村经济增长的启示”,作者说因为家庭承包责任制是中国特有的,所以查不到外文文献,导致文献综述中“国外研究现状”部分缺失。2. 缺少近3-5年的文献。诸多期刊杂志都要求“除关键文献外,尽量引用近3-5年的文献”,但很多作者往往注意不到这一点,常常搜到什么文献,就放什么文献,而不考虑文献的时效性。比如,有作者在文献综述部分,使用引用来说明“已有研究对文化因素影响居民健康这一问题尚未足够重视,尤其是从文化活动视角进行研究还较为有限”,这一观点也的确出自前人文献,但引用的这篇文献是2014年出刊的,截止2022年已经过去了8年,那么在这8年的时间里,是否有人从“文化活动视角”继续研究过?这一研究空白是否被填补?缺少近3-5年的研究成果,会让审稿专家怀疑这一选题到底值不值得做,以及是否已经有其他人研究过而作者没有查阅到相关文献。3. 学位论文、报纸、会议等非期刊文献偏多。虽然学术界没有明确规定不能引用学位论文、报纸、会议等非期刊文献,但如果论文参考文献引用较高比例的学位论文、报纸、会议等非期刊文献,会给审稿专家造成一种“论文质量不高”的印象。从时效性方面讲,学位论文相较于期刊发表,每一个阶段都是滞后的,因为期刊文献最典型的特征是内容新,而学位论文从写作到发表,往往需要较长的时间,时效性较弱;从科研价值方面讲,会议、报纸等受众较少,会议论文是在学术会议上宣读的文章,属于公开发表的论文,认可度与学术会议的权威性成正相关,所以科研价值方面较弱。(二)文献引用数量的问题1. 文献引用偏多的问题。文献引用偏多有两种情况,一种情况是,外审专家指出作者稿件中参考文献偏多,但作者认为所放的参考文献是佐证自己观点的重要引用,没办法割舍;另一种情况是,作者认为自己的参考文献偏多,但外审专家指出作者稿件中某些观点仍需补充依据,添加引用。不管是哪种情况都给作者带来了困扰,也即不知道该听从自己的想法维持参考文献的现状,还是参考外审专家的意见进行补充或删减文献。2. 文献引用偏少的问题。文献引用偏少,体现在作者论文中大篇幅主观论述,缺少别人的观点作为支撑。比如在思辨研究的论文中,正文部分常常主观去分析某一问题的表现、成因,以及对策建议。在实证研究的论文中,对数据结果的解释说明缺少引用。文献引用偏少,引用他人的学术观点、数据、材料等而不如实、规范地标注出处,则有缺乏严肃认真的科学态度或学术修养的嫌疑,同时也会降低论文的严谨性,使得观点“立不住脚”。(三)文献引用格式的问题1. 论文多次引用同一篇文献,文中上标存在的问题。文中上标会涉及到Word中具体的操作,对于部分不熟悉电脑软件的人来说,如何正确上标,成为他们论文写作中很头疼的一个问题,比如,有作者曾发来这样一个疑问,说“我的引言中有一段文字是‘价值共创理论在我国企业管理研究应用主要集中于管理创新、品牌社区、品牌管理’。这段文字我引用了两个作者的相同观点,在这句话后面脚注的时候要脚注两次,脚注第1次上标为1,脚注第2次上标为2,那么放在一起就变为脚注12了,这种情况应该如何操作呢?”。2. 论文多次引用同一篇文献,文后注释存在的问题。论文多次引用同一篇文献,文后参考文献只需要注释一次,也即“一引多标”。很多作者不清楚参考文献出现两篇相同的文献是不规范的,也不清楚“一引多标”在Word文档中如何操作,比如会提出“多处引用同一个文献,正确的文后注释格式是什么?”“文后参考文献正常插入序号是按顺序排列的,比如第2个引用和第9个引用是同一个文献,第9个序号和第2个一标注,那第9个文献那就会出现空白”等疑问。二、期刊论文文献引用的注意事项(一)如何提高期刊论文引用的质量1. 掌握正确查找外文文献的方法。(1)直接去外文数据库检索文献。Web of Science是一个常用的外文数据库,它的三大引文索引(SCI+SSCI+A&HCI)收录了全球12,400多种权威的、高影响力的国际学术期刊,内容涵盖自然科学、工程技术、社会科学、艺术与人文等学科领域,所以可以这一数据库来进行外文文献的检索。在查阅国外文献数据库的同时也要克服英文阅读的困难。(2)通过与研究相关的中文文献来检索外文文献。在英文阅读水平难以支撑去检索外文数据库的情况下,可以先检索与研究相关的中文文献,从中文文献的文献综述中获取与本文相关的外文文献。2. 选择与论文表述观点最为密切、最好是近3-5年内的文献,以便准确反映最新进展。针对查不到近3-5年文献的情况,需要反思的是:是否检索文献的方式不正确。比如(1)是否直接以选题名称进行了检索,直接以选题名称搜索文献,可能会出现查不到文献的情况,这时候就需要将选题名称进行拆分,分别以“研究主题”、及“缩小后的研究主题”分类检索。(2)是否有尝试用研究主题的同义或近义词进行检索,比如如果选择了某一网络词语作为研究主题词,那么查不到文献也是正常的,这时候就需要将网络词语进行学术化,再进行文献的检索。(二)论文写作/修改过程中如何控制文献引用的数量1.首先,在论文写作和修改初期,不建议作者过多考虑参考文献数量的多少,而应把“多引用”放在第一位。一方面,在论文写作和修改过程中,过多关注参考文献是否冗余,会造成作者“畏手畏脚”,花费了较多时间和精力在“斟酌某一观点是否需要引用”上,从而影响论文写作和修改的思路。另一方面,论文修改过程,也是文章内容不断调整和优化的过程。随着论文的不断完善,参考文献的数量也会随之动态变化,如果过多关注论文修改过程中参考文献的数量,可能会耽误论文写作和修改的进度。2.其次,在论文修改后期及投稿过程,应结合自己目标期刊的要求,有针对性地调整参考文献。比如有期刊要求“参考文献数量不要超过论文篇幅的三分之一”、“文献综述型论文至少要引用30篇以上参考文献,其中必须有外文文献”等等,那么就需要按照期刊的要求补充或删减参考文献。另外,如果作者没有目标期刊,或者目标期刊对参考文献没有数量的要求,那么建议在调整参考文献的过程中,大致了解拟投期刊近1-2年刊文的参考文献的数量,尽量与拟投期刊的文章的参考文献的数量保持一致。(三)文献引用的正确格式及在Word中的操作1.论文多次引用同一篇文献,文中上标的正确格式:(1)首先,根据《信息与文献 参考文献著录规则》,按照顺序编码制组织的参考文献表中的各篇文献序号用方括号,如[1]、[2]....具体在Word中,在引用选项下,选择“方括号样式”这一选项之后,文中上标格式便会显示被隔开,而不会出现上标12歧义的情况。(2)其次,多次引用同一著者的同一文献时,在正文中标注首次引用的文献序号,并在序号的“[]”外著录引文页码,比如“突发公共卫生事件的风险沟通尚属一个新兴研究领域,学界对该问题缺乏成熟的理论框架[1]114....战略计划、能力建设、专项财政支持则是以往各国应对突发公共卫生事件时确保风险沟通措施落地见效的最基本保障机制[1]121”。2..论文多次引用同一篇文献,文后注释的正确格式:(1)如果多次引用同一著者的参考文献是文后注释,那么在文中引用的文献序号外著录引文页码的情况下,参考文献不再重复著录。比如参考文献可列为“[1]MORRI I.
