一、申请办理规定
艺术史更专业的申请办理整体是比较困难的，最先院校招收配额会特别少，尤其是博士新项目;次之对学生的言语规定很高，因为要很好的语言水平做为学术研究与研究支撑;最终还要学生有浓郁的学术研究兴趣和爱好充足的研究能力。
Top30院校绝大多数规定GPA3.5之上，尤其是博士申请者。托福考试提议成绩为105之上，并且需要提供GRE考试成绩，但是对于博士申请者其实也就需要提交GREGeneral考试成绩。除此之外，针对博士申请者而言，最重要的就是创作案例(writingsample)，这想要你依照学术规范递交一篇20页左右学术文章。并且你必须在文中展现你的非常好的学术研究研究角度、思路和基本功。
二、申请办理提议
针对本科学艺术史的小伙伴们而言，根本不用担心背景难题。对于一般背景朋友，你就要本科阶段多修一些艺术史、考据学或是艺术史有关的课程。以哥伦比亚大学为例子，必须修最少4门艺术史、考据学或是有关的课程。
