Science期刊发展历程：
1880年，纽约新闻记者约翰·迈克尔斯（英语：John Michaels）创立了《科学》，这份期刊先后得到了托马斯·爱迪生以及亚历山大·格拉汉姆·贝尔的资助。但由于从未拥有足够的用户而难以为继，《科学》于1882年3月停刊。
一年后，昆虫学家Samuel Hubbard Scudder使其复活并取得了一定的成功。然而到了1894年，《科学》重新陷入财政危机，随后被以500美元的价格转让给心理学家James McKeen Cattell。
1900年，Cattell与美国科学促进会秘书Leland Ossian Howard达成协议，《科学》成为美国科学促进会的期刊。
在20世纪早期，《科学》发表的重要文章包括托马斯·亨特·摩根的果蝇遗传、阿尔伯特·爱因斯坦的引力透镜以及埃德温·哈勃的螺旋星系。1944年Cattell去世后，AAAS成为《科学》新主人。

1 简介
《实用临床医药杂志》是由中华人民共和国教育部、江苏省教育厅主管，扬州大学和中国高校科技期刊研究会共同主办，国内外公开征稿和发行的学术期刊。为中国科技核心期刊，中国科技论文统计源期刊，ASPT来源刊，中国期刊网来源刊，连续三年获教育部颁发的“中国高校优秀科技期刊”称号，影响因子和被引频次均逐年上升。
本刊为半月刊，24期/年。发表周期短，免收审稿费。对省/部级以上部门科研基金资助项目的论文优先刊登，欢迎投稿。
本刊栏目设置有：论著、技术与方法、临床药学、临床研究、短篇论著、综述、调查研究、病例报告、专科护理、急救护理、护理管理等。
2 稿件要求
2.1 收稿
接收国内外论文，欢迎先进性(创新)、科学性(设计合理、数据可靠和统计方法正确)、实用性(对科研、临床等有指导意义)及可读性强的文章。内容包括基础和临床科研、医疗、护理、卫生防疫等方面的研究论著、最新成果和技术方法、临床药学、述评与综述等学术性论文。
论文应表达准确，重点突出，文字简练。研究论著、文献综述、述评6000字左右，临床研究、短篇论著3000字左右。简化汉字按1986-10-10国务院批准重新公布的《简化字总表》书写。具体写作要求见投稿网站《投稿须知》。
2.2 投稿要求
所有文稿均采用我刊网上注册投稿，由相应单位作政治和保密审查。作者需将《单位推荐信》及《版权转让协议》寄至本刊北京编辑出版中心，推荐信应注明对稿件的审评意见以及无一稿两投等情况，不涉及保密、署名无争议等项并加盖公章。已在非公开发行的刊物上发表或在学术会议上交流过的文稿可以再投稿，但必须注明。《版权转让协议》、《单位推荐信》可以在投稿网站下载。若稿件无法上传可投递至编辑信箱：Email: 。
文稿内容要求：（1）论文内容真实，文责自负，数据准确，无泄密；（2）参考文献确系亲自阅读，核对无误；（3）同意《实用临床医药杂志》北京编辑出版中心作文字性修改；（4）临床研究必须遵循《赫尔辛基宣言》的原则，对任何涉及人体的研究均应注明得到受试者知情同意；（5）投稿将意味着作者将出版及上网权转交给《实用临床医药杂志》北京编辑出版中心，保证无一稿两投；（6）每位作者均需在信末签名负责；（7）研究论著自请统计学专业工作者（文中有统计学处理时）及英语专业工作者审核后投稿以缩短发表周期；（8）一旦发现一稿两投（指主要内容相同），将予以退稿并追究其有关责任，同时2年内禁止在本刊发表论文。研究生论文，必须经导师修改，并在《版权转让协议》上签名认可。文稿被接受且按《实用临床医药杂志》北京编辑出版中心审修意见修改定稿后，请作者按要求经网络上传，并将相关发表经邮局汇寄《实用临床医药杂志》北京编辑出版中心。
2.3 稿件处理
《实用临床医药杂志》北京编辑出版中心有权对来稿进行必要的文字性删改。不采用的稿件于3个月内通知作者，请自留底稿。稿件退修则表明已被我刊初步接受，请勿另投他刊。基金资助项目论文、优秀研究原著、研究综述经主编或审稿专家推荐，可提前发表。论文刊出后，赠送当期杂志。
2.4 出版费用
来稿不收取审稿费，收取发表费。
