本刊是国内外公开发行的自然科学类综合性学术刊物，主要刊登环境工程、土木工程、建筑学、城市规划、艺术设计、园林、给排水工程、工程管理、电子信息工程、机械工程以及相关的交叉学科等工程技术方面的学术论文，研究报告、综述、技术技革成果报告、科技信息。
