国外核心期刊有：外语学刊、外语研究、现代外语、外语教学与研究、山东外语教学、外语教学、解放军外国语学院学报等。
核心期刊分为国内核心和国际核心，国内核心主要是科技核心、北大核心以及南大核心。其中科技核心又称为统计源期刊，北大核心是北京大学图书馆出的目录，南大核心又称为CSSCI，是南京大学图书馆出的目录。国际核心主要指的是EI期刊、SCI期刊或者SSCI期刊。
国内核心期刊的定义：
国内核心期刊共有七大类，这些顶尖国内学术期刊中也有刊物被sci检索的，所以这种情况下sci期刊与核心期刊是有重合的，但这部分期刊我们就可以说二者是一回事儿，但是在这类刊物在国内数量是很少的，再来说说国外的核心期刊，sci期刊本身就算是国外的核心期刊。
所以这种情况下sci期刊与核心期刊就是同一概念了，国外的核心刊物最常见的就是sci期刊和ei期刊。不论作者发表的是国内的核心期刊还是国外的核心期刊，核心刊物的发表价值和作用都是毋庸置疑的，特别是sci期刊，可以算是国外核心期刊中的金字塔尖了。
在国内外的地位和作用是组显著的，它所代表的的是最先进的科研成果和科研水平，这些是其他核心刊物无法相提并论的。

外语学刊杂志紧跟学术前沿，紧贴读者，国内刊号为：23-1071/H。坚持指导性与实用性相结合的原则，创办于1978年，杂志在全国同类期刊中发行数量名列前茅。

文稿的首页末注明第一作者的姓名、出生年、籍贯、性别、职称、学位、专业研究方向及论文属何项目、资金来源。摘要300字左右为宜，要求客观反映文稿的主要内容；关键词为3-5组。论文题目、作者姓名、作者单位、摘要、关键词均需有相应的英文翻译。
参考文献的著录格式采用顺序编码制，请按文中出现的先后顺序编号。所引文献必须是作者直接阅读参考过的、最主要的、公开出版的文献。
