Looking back from the origin of shooting sports and sports psychology , this paper analyzes the significance of the psychological quality in shooting sports through the typical examples in shooting contests . Good psychological quality helps to improve the shooting technique. At the same time , the excellent shooting technique through the psychological suggestion guarantees athletes' psychological quality . Finally , this paper puts forward the prospects of the development of China's shooting sports and expectation and planning of how to foster reserved shooting sports talents.
