Next, I will present the outline of my thesis. It consists of 7 parts.
The first part gives a brief introduction to the ambiguity and structure of the thesis.
The second part is literature review, briefly introducing the development of study of ambiguity and some scholarss main views.
The third to fifth parts focus on three types of ambiguity in English and Chinese: phonological ambiguity, lexical ambiguity, syntactic ambiguity. In every broad type, I respectively list some detailed branches and cite some vivid English and Chinese examples to explain these ambiguity phenomena. But I put more focus on the third part and point out two differences of ambiguity between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity.
The part six will point out positive results by using ambiguity deliberately in daily conversations, advertisements and literary works.
The last part is the conclusion.
I hope by this contrastive research, we will have a better understanding of ambiguity in English and Chinese and apply it to our life and study.

我是07社工班的学生巩鲜妮，我的毕业论文题目是《社区照顾理论下的城市社区养老服务发展对策研究》。我当初之所以选择这个课题，一是因为目前我国已进入了老龄化社会，关注养老服务是我们的责任，也是亟待解决的问题。二是我个人对养老服务的兴趣。我的学年论文就是研究老年社区照顾的，题为《从“我国老年人的恋家情结”视角看老年社区照顾的开展》，而毕业论文就是对学年论文的深入，我希望通过自己的浅薄研究能够为我国养老服务的发展提供建议和参考。

随着我国人口老龄化的加剧，养老问题已成为我国社会生活中存在的一个不容忽视的问题。由于家庭结构的变化，子女数量的减少，传统的家庭养老和社会养老已经不能适应我国目前快速老龄化的现状。在我国城市社区快速蓬勃发展，社区服务功能日益扩展和凸现的背景下，如何以社区为依托和载体，使之承担和发挥其养老服务功能，成为理论和实践上需要研究的问题。
近年来，对城市社区养老服务问题的研究较之初期的研究已逐渐走向深入，研究视角也在不断拓展。从研究城市社区养老服务的文献来看，多数研究集中在社区的境况、老年人的生理特征、心理特征、养老工作存在的问题等方面，优势视角、增能理论也开始得到了初步应有。以社区照顾理论的视角来研究城市社区养老服务的研究也有不少，但目前运用的深入和全面分析尚不多见。虽然这些相关研究对城市社区养老服务的发展都起着极大的促进作用，但也存在着不足和缺陷。例如：多数研究从社会调查的角度出发，比如对我国老年人身体状况、生活状况的调查等；问题的分析多数也仅仅局限在浅层次的空洞层面，分析还不够深刻细致，让人知其然不知其所以然；对于问题解决，太过注重养老的物质层面，而忽略内心和精神层面；在方案的提出方面，考虑不够全面，大多停留在宏观政策的层面，很多措施抽象而不具体，也难以落实，同时也缺乏可行性。
因此，我在本文的写作过程中，结合当前城市社区养老服务的现状，全面分析其所存在的问题，在社区照顾理论的应用和深入下，重点从文化传统、思想观念、经济实力等方面着手，针对我国的城市社区养老服务发展初步提出建设性对策。希望能够为我国的城市社区养老服务的发展工作提供建议和参考。
全文共分四个部分，分别为：社区照顾理论的分析、我国城市社区养老服务的现状、我国城市社区养老服务所存在的问题及原因分析、社区照顾理论下我国城市社区养老服务的发展对策。
第一部分主要阐述了社区照顾理论的来源、相关概念、内涵及特点。旨在增加对该理论的理解。

本文采用的研究方法主要有：文献研究法、比较分析与实证分析法，首先本文是在查阅大量相关资料和前人的研究情况下来进行写作的。
其次，本人对重庆市部分社区进行了走访调查，调查对象注意了地域代表性。最后，对大量的资料进行了归纳总结，分析原因，并提出几点可行的建议。
本文存在着一些不足之处，例如由于人力和时间有限，不能对各社区进行大范围的调查，改进与验证。

绩效考核正是连接战略目标和日常经营活动的桥梁，已越来越引起企业的高度重视，绩效的考核战略地位得到了前所未有的提升。作为一种以培养竞争力、打造高素质团队为目的的管理方法，绩效考核的目标是确认员工的工作成就，改进员工的工作方式，以提高工作效率和经营效益，从而建立企业核心竞争能力，达成组织目标和保持企业持续发展，因此企业必须加强自身的建设，练好“内功”，建立一套行之有效的绩效考核体系，通过绩效考核的有效实施，不断改善员工个人的绩效，最终实现企业整体绩效的提升。
就其目的及意义而言，主要有以下几点：
一、通过对中小型私企绩效考核的研究分析，明白绩效考核可以作用和改善员工的'工作态度和工作结果，同时为企业提供员工的个人信息，是企业实施人力资源管理的依据。
二、以S有限公司为案例，通过对其绩效考核的现状进行分析，以全面了解中小型私企的绩效管理状况，并总结其存在的问题；
三、通过对现存问题的探讨，得出相应的优化策略，从而为中小型私企的管理活动提供有益的建议。高星级酒店的改革与发展提供一定的参考依据。
其次，我想谈谈本论文的结构和主要内容：
本文主要分为六个部分。
第一部分介绍本文的写作背景、意义、及所研究问题的目的。
第二部分针对文中将用到的理论进行文献回顾。
第三部分论述中小型私企绩效考核的现状和原因分析。
第四部分导入本文研究对象S有限公司，针对公司绩效考核问题做了一次问卷调查并对调查结果进行分析。
第五部分提出对S有限公司绩效考核的优化策略。
第六部分是总结和不足之处。
最后，我想谈谈本论文的不足之处
由于受本人学术水平、资料和时间的限制，本文没有对影响绩效考核的因素、考核方法评价等方面进行研究，在对优化S有限公司的考核体系方面也没有进行详尽阐述，文中有些观点和分析尚且幼稚，这些不足都有待于笔者在以后学习和工作中进一步学习和研究，不妥之处敬请各位读者修正！

首先，选题的现状和北京。
我国火电企业也已经进行政企分开，公司化改组，商业化运营，法制化管理的改革。这些改革归根结底就是使火电企业能够顺利进入市场，参与竞争，这对火电企业来说既是一种挑战，也是一次发展的机遇：厂网分开、竞价上网等改革为火电企业拓展电力市场提供了条件；国家对供电营业区的划分和对限制用电政策的取消或调整，为火电企业提供了生存空间和政策支持；全社会口益提高的环保意识、优化能源结构和人规模城乡电网改造又为火电企业拓展电力市场创造了良机。火电企业正在这次机遇中迅猛发展。虽然当前我国发电企业去的了不俗的成绩，但仍存在着电网安全隐患较大，电力交易不规范行为屡见不鲜，各方利益矛盾冲突难以解决等问题。同时，当前火力发电企业经营环境面临电力需求增速趋缓、资金矛盾凸现、煤炭持续涨价、电价调整不到位等压力。随着我国建设资源节约型和环境友好型社会理念的提出，各种社会收费项目如水资源费、环保收费逐年增加，发电企业的生存与发展仍然面临着严峻的考验。
技术经济学是现代管理科学中一门新兴的综合性学科，其主要任务是从经济角度对具体工程项目、技术方案进行分析评价，为决策者提供有关经济效益方面的科学依据，帮助决策者作出正确的抉择。改革开放以来，我国技术经济学科获得了巨大发展。技术经济分析方法及其应用作为技术经济学科的重要组成部分在整个技术经济体系中占据着越来越重要的地位。
其次，本题的研究目的和意义。
当前火力发电企业经营环境面临电力需求增速趋缓、资金矛盾凸现、煤炭持续涨价、电价调整不到位等压力。随着我国建设资源节约型和环境友好型社会理念的提出，各种社会收费项目如水资源费、环保收费逐年增加，发电企业的生存与发展面临严峻的考验。技术经济分析方法对于整个发电企业来起着极为重要的意义。浙能乐清电厂作为浙能集团旗下的新兴电厂和浙江省电力工程的重要组成部分，各个重大项目的规划和设备的购置更需经过详细的计算和分析，从而在达到效益最大化的同时兼顾未来发展和周边环境。乐清电厂要想的到更好的发展必须依赖精准可靠的技术经济分析方法。
再次，论文的主要内容，本文共分成三个部分：
第一部分主要阐述了论文的研究背景现状及研究的目的意义。
第二部分主要阐述了技术经济分析方法包括盈亏平衡分析、敏感性分析、风险分析这三项不确定性分析及综合分析法、层次分析法和模糊综合评价法三个重要的系统综合法的基本原理及优缺点介绍。
第三部分主要阐述了上诉集中重要技术经济分析方法在浙能乐清电厂中的实际应用。
最后一点，想说说论文存在的一些不足。
第一，搜集材料的问题；虽然在校期间从事家教辅导，但是对中学教学的经验仍有待提高，因此，在写作的过程中，仅从几个问题上阐述了我肤浅的理解。
第二，由于实践研究不够，总结出的策略可操作性不强。论文对这些问题没有深入展开探讨，与导师期望达到的水平仍有一定的差距。
主要表现为：调研统计资料不够齐全，样本数量不足，合理性、全面性不够，技术经济分析方法选取代表性不足等。
经过本次论文写作，本人学到了许多有用的东西，也积累了不少经验，但由于本人才疏学浅，能力不足，加之时间和精力有限，在许多内容表述、论证上存在着不当之处，与老师的期望还相差甚远，许多问题还有待进行一步思考和探究，借此答辩机会，万分肯切的希望各位老师能够提出宝贵的意见，多指出我的错误和不足之处，本人将虚心接受，从而不断进一步深入学习研究，使该论文得到完善和提高。

上午好!我是惠州学院中文系xx本2班的学生xxx。我的毕业论文的题目是《再论苏轼寓惠散文》,我的指导老师是曹国安讲师。我当初之所以选择研究苏轼的寓惠散文，主要是因为苏轼是我比较喜欢的一个作家，他是我国文化发展史上一位多才多艺的“全能”式的通才，在散文创作方面，他更是是继欧阳修之后，宋代诗文的革新运动的卓越领导者和文坛领袖，唐宋散文八大家之一。他的散文代表了北宋古诗文运动的最高成就。在苏轼四十多年的文艺创作生涯中，他写了大量的散文，含括了众多的体裁品类。苏轼在寓惠期间，不仅创作了大量的诗词，同时也写了不少散文作品，包括书信在内共有326篇。这些寓惠散文作品便成了我研究此课题的最直接的文本基础。此外，在大学学习期间，我选修了苏轼寓惠研究方面的相关课程,对苏轼在贬谪惠州的相关事宜有一定的了解,也积累了一定的写作素材,有利于该课题的研究和写作工作的开展。

The last 4 months have been crucial in my learning of real world business and economics. For my IB Extended Essay, titled “To What Extent Does Subway in Oman Operate as an Oligopoly”, I set out to prove the oligpolistic structure of the fast food market in Oman. In this effort, I have come across many real life complexities in pricing behaviour, profit making and other aspects of the Theory of the Firm. I am glad to choose mathematics and applied mathematics. Three years’ study had deepened my understanding of them, especially of mathematical modeling. (It still occurs to me when I went to attend the class of XX department given by Professor Jiang qiyuan in Tsinghua University for the first time. “1 kilogram of flour added with 1 kilogram of stuffing can make 100 dumplings, but what if the stuffing is more than 1 kilogram?” He used a very simple, vivid and interesting example which aroused my interest and led me into the mathematical modeling world.

The first time I kissed the mathematical modeling was in the summer vacation of 2005, when I got a good opportunity to attend the mathematical modeling training organized by our school. Seasoned mathematics teachers told me what on earth the mathematical modeling is through some existing examples, in which the one about SARS impressed me most. In 2003, SARS broke out and shrouded rapidly to the whole world, which imperiled our economic development and people’s living. Pocketed with this passion and thinking, I tasted to use mathematical modeling into practice and solve the practical problems by attending the National College Mathematical Modeling Contest with the other two schoolmates on behalf of our college. It required us to evaluate the water quality of Changjiang River according to the data, through which we had to analyze the water pollution in every region and predict the trend of it in the future. Finally we had to bring out the plan against it. It was really a challenge for us towards flood of data and estimations as long as 17 pages. We tried almost a whole day only to filter those data and take the evaluations into comprehensive account. Pulling down various models we had built before, we were so defeated that we wanted to give up many times. However, we finally found the satisfactory model thanks to our encouragement to each other which armed us with full strength to go further.We managed to evaluate the water quality by Composite index model, which could not only represent the evaluation factors, but also reflect the main impacts of the contaminations to the water pollution. We predicted the future water pollution through multiple linear regressions fitting and brought out the plan against it by building linear optimization model. Finally, we got the second prize in Beijing for our thesis. Three days’ and nights’ modeling experience had cooled our passion and gave us even more calm thinking instead. The creation of the mathematical modeling, along with the successful solution to the problems through it lied on the solid mathematics foundation, strong modeling ability, accumulation of the knowledge on different fields, unique creative ideas and creativity.

The experience from this contest further aroused my interest in mathematics. I began to pay more attention to its application as well as learning the theories. In addition, I tried to catch every opportunity to take part in the practical mathematical modeling. My efforts finally rewarded when I was in the first term as a junior. I had a chance to participate in the 3-day electrician mathematical modeling practice-----classifying the sports programs for a big sports meeting. Being familiar with the Graph Theory, I immediately found the way to solve the problems by seeking the best Hamilton circuit line. Facing the nearly 8.7 billion data files with different orders much more than that on the National Mathematical Modeling Contest, I spent a long time on Algorithm without any perfect result. I wasn’t defeated towards this case, but so excited instead that I could have such a chance to challenge and improve myself. Looking up dozens of files, I finally made a perfect end of the practice by using the Genetic Algorithm into full account. It needs both a successful model and an effective arithmetic to solve these problems. , which largely shortened the operation time and improved the operation result. Summarizing my failures in the mathematical modeling electrician practice and proceeding from my interest in this field, I began to think of collaborating on the “Mathematical Modeling Saloon” with several students from mathematics and computer departments, taking the Computer Algorithms and mathematical modeling as the two themes of the book. Every Tuesday afternoon, we would organized those students interested in this field to study and exchange the ideas and arithmetic by imparting experience, sharing what we learnt, pondering together and discussing with each other. Both the traditional transportation & storage problems and the modern Stimulated Annealing Arithmetic (SAA), Ant Algorithm have ever been the topic of our discussion, from which I have learnt many thinking styles and methods to the problems from the students both in mathematics and computer department. So far, I am excited to see that this activity is still in the wind with more and more participants and it aroused a learning upsurge in our college.
在老师的推荐下，大三暑假，我参加了邢永丽老师的教学改革项目——“提高数学课堂教学质量”的结果分析。04-05年，邢老师在她和其他几个数学老师的任课班级上做了课堂互动的教学实践，其数据大多以调查问卷等文字形式出现。此模型的特点让我马上联想到模糊数学定量分析模型，但敢于尝试新模型的念头让我最后选择了AHP层次分析法。通过量化数据，应用AHP层次分析法定量分析老师的综合素质、授课技巧等因素在师生互动、提高数学课堂教学质量中所起的作用，得出教师的授课技巧和课堂问题设置在课堂互动中所占分量最重的结论，并和邢老师合作完成《层次分析法在课堂互动教学效果评价中的应用》论文，邢老师和我对论文都非常满意，已向多个期刊投稿并有望发表。
Recommended by my teacher, I have participated in the Teaching Reform Program of Mrs. Xing yongli----the results analysis of “Improving the mathematics teaching quality on class”. Mrs. Xing, along with some other mathematics teachers experienced the class mutual activities in 2004 to 2005 with the character data files in form of paper investigations. For this style of data files, I finally used the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) as a creative challenge instead of the fuzzy mathematical quantitative analysis models, which firstly knocked my mind. By quantitating data and using the AHP, I succeeded in analyzing how the overall quality of the teachers and their teaching skills work in improving the mathematics teaching quality on class, from which we got the conclusion that the teaching skills and the way to put forward questions on class play the most important role in the class mutual activities. Besides, Mrs. Xing collaborated with me on the thesis named “The Application of Analytic Hierarchy Processinto the Evaluation of Class Mutual Activities”. Both of us were satisfied with this thesis and contributed it to many presses to be published.

The topic of my thesis is 《Angela carter to mythology research - the female archetype in “new eve passion”, for example》. I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons.
Angela Carter (1940-1992) is an outstanding feminist writer whose influence on Britishwomen's writing was “pivotal in this opening and transformation” [“23]. The year 2014 represents the 22”^ anniversary of Angela Carter's death. In those twenty-two years, her works have been widely taught internationally and brought about much critical debate. In a survey conducted by Cristina Bacchilega and Danielle M. Roemer [2],Carter is one of the most commonly taught women writers on North American programs. She has endowed us with an amazingly large number of legacies in her comparatively limited life, setting foot in various fields such as novels,short stories,children stories, dramas, non-fictions and so on. The acute observations with great insights,as well as the devastating wit and poignant mockery in Carter's works have made her stand out as an iconic figure in English literature. Many scholars and critics have devoted themselves to the research on Angela Carter from many perspectives,including gothic, magic realism, feminism,post-modernism and so on. As a prolific writer who is always ready to blur the boundaries between different genres, Carter has left us a wonderful world to delve into.

Carter, with her versatile and avant-garde reputation, is best known as a feminist writer. Concerning the dilemmas and predicaments faced by women nowadays,it is very necessary for us to probe into her insightful and penetrating reflections on femininity as well as the relationship between two genders. The Passion of New Eve, as one of Carter's most representative works, is of great value in the research of her feminist thoughts and propositions.
Next, is my paper outline. In the main part of this article, I put it into five parts.

Chapter two presents a broad picture of Angela Carter's life and her works, as well as the background information about The Passion of New Eve. Carter condemns the oppression and exploitation of women in a patriarchal society. ”Mother“ in Beulah serves as a severe satire on those mother goddesses in mythology. Carter smashes the legend by revealing the surgically-made essence of mother and the patriarchal values lurking behind her alleged matriarchal kingdom, warning against the peril and impracticality of extremist matriarchy.And her most convincing example goes to Eve, the most important female character in the Bible, Her transformative journey from a chauvinist to a real woman in the story illustrates that gender, rather than a hereditary feature, is the result of social influence and unremitting imitations. Carter concludes the story with proposing ”androgyny“ as a solution to the current problems,implying that mutual respect and understanding is the only way to achieve the harmony between the two genders.
Chapter five comes to a general conclusion, summarizing the limitations of the theses as well as some suggestions for further study.

首先，我想谈谈这个毕业论文课题的提出与意义。
牵引供电系统由牵引变电所和牵引网构成，经牵引变电所将电力系统的高压电能加以降压和变换后输送给接触网并向电力机车供电。在我国，城市电车、地下铁道或轻轨等一般采取直流制，电压等级从600V至1500V不等，而电气化铁道大多采用工频（50Hz）、额定电压为27.5kV或2x27.5kV的单相交流制.牵引变电所是牵引供电系统的核心，担负着变电和配电的任务，对保证电气化铁道运输安全起着至关重要的作用。随着电气化铁路管理科学化步伐的加快，铁道运营管理标准得到大大提高。
目前，牵引变电所一、二次设备的自动化及运行可靠性己经达到相当高的水平，但是相应的所内运行人员的技术培训工作水平还较低，目前仍采用以概念性培训为主的培训模式。项目”牵引变电所操作仿真系统的研宄与苑“正是针对目前牵引供电系统技术培训工作中存在的针对性不强、无故障应对培训等现状而提出的。而课题”牵引供电系统负荷过程的建模与计算机仿真研宄“是该项目的重要组成部分，搭建含一次供电网络、牵引变电所及其供电臂的牵引供电系统数学模型并对牵引供电系统负荷过程进行仿真，能够更好的理解和分析牵引变电所的运行，也能够让操作人员更熟悉牵引供电系统的运行过程。另外，牵引变电所的一些操作或故障应对是在系统带负荷情况下发生的，对牵引供电系统负荷过程建模与仿真，可以更真实的模拟牵引变电所操作。本课题主要承担着牵引供电系统数学建模与负荷过程仿真的任务，提供电力机车正常运行下运行仿真数据。目前，牵引变电所操作培训仿真系统的研究与开发在国内尚属空白。操作仿真系统的实现具有一定的科研价值和实际应用价值。
对牵引供电系统负荷过程的计算和仿真，也一直是电气化铁路研究和设计的重点。由于牵引供电系统拥有复杂的结构，牵引负荷也具有移动性、随机性、三相不对称性等特点，模拟真实的牵引供电系统负荷过程变得极为复杂。伴随计算机技术的发展与普及，牵引供电系统的计算机仿真应运而生。与常规手算和物理模拟相比，计算机仿真具有方便、灵活、实用、经济与周期短等优点，已广泛应用在运行管理人员培训、工程设计及新系统研发等方面。牵引供电系统通用数学模型的构建和负荷过程潮流计算的实现，可以对电力机车运行实时模拟，检验运行中的各项指标和特性，验证模型及仿真的合理性。
其次，我想谈谈这篇论文的结构和主要内容。
本文讨论的电气化铁道为工频（50Hz）下的交流制牵引供电系统，包含较为精细的一次供电网络描述、带无功补偿的牵引变电所描述及牵引网描述，用精准的导线参数计算方法，建立了牵引供电系统通用数学模型，并基于此模型研宄了牵引供电系统负荷过程的潮流计算方法；基于VisualC++6.0平台开发了”牵引供电系统负荷过程仿真计算程序“软件，并依据该软件实现了牵引变电所所内及牵引网的潮流分布计算，为项目”牵引变电所操作仿真系统的研究与开发“提供了牵引变电所正常运行条件下所需的各种电气参数，为运行人员在此仿真环境下进行变电所的各种倒阐操作、监盘等提供真实、合理的运行背景。
本课题的研宄内容主要包括：
第1章为绪论部分，交代了课题的研宄背景与研宄意义，并参考国内外研究现状，分析了牵引供电系统建模与仿真的相关研究理论及最新研究成果。
第2章介绍了牵引供电系统的特点与构成，并对牵引供电系统构成及电力机车进行建模，包括：一次供电网络建模、牵引变电所等值电路的推导、牵引网链式结构模型的生成及电力机车理想电流源模型建立。
第3章阐述了牵引供电系统负荷过程潮流计算方法与负荷过程计算机仿真实现。建立了牵引供电系统通用模型的节点电压方程，用迭代算法实现了计及牵引变电所所内潮流及牵引网负荷过程潮流的整个牵引供电网络的潮流计算。计算机仿真实现部分讲述了基于MicrosoftVisualC++6.0平台开发软件的设计，包括：软件结构、实现功能及界面设计等。
第4章以昆明铁路局金马村牵引变电所为计算实例，对其牵引供电系统的潮流分布进行计算，并对计算结果进行比较分析，得出相关结论。
第5章则是对本文的总结和展望。
最后，我想谈谈这篇论文存在的不足。

My topic is On the tragedy figures at historical turning points(Comparison of KongYiji and Rip Van Winkle).
The whole thesis consists of 6 parts. The first part will give a brief introduction of the negative, evasive and conservative attitudes of Kong and Rip as well as the topic’s significance in the real society. And the second part is going to analyze the figures’ background to show the historical necessity of the tragedies. In the third part, the tragic heroes’ failing in the character according to their living environment will be further discussed and the fourth part is to talk about their different tendency of dispositions and behaviors in the society. Firstly, I am very interested in the study of ambiguity. Ambiguity is a common phenomenon in all natural languages. As is known to all, in our daily conversations, ambiguity is often employed to achieve the effect of humor, thus creating a relaxing atmosphere and letting people feel at ease. Some jokes caused by ambiguity is very interesting.
Secondly, I have read several articles about ambiguity written by linguistics and scholars. I found my knowledge of ambiguity is very limited, superficial and nonsystematic. What I knew is just the tip of the iceberg. So I plan to learn more about ambiguity by this research.
Thirdly, I found many scholars have carried out numerous studies of ambiguity, but a majority of these studies are focused on single language separately. Articles about comparison between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity are not sufficient. So it is necessary to make further study.
For the above facts, I select this title.
Next, I will present the outline of my thesis. It consists of 7 parts.
The first part gives a brief introduction to the ambiguity and structure of the thesis.
The second part is literature review, briefly introducing the development of study of ambiguity and some scholars’s main views.
The third to fifth parts focus on three types of ambiguity in English and Chinese: phonological ambiguity, lexical ambiguity, syntactic ambiguity. In every broad type, I respectively list some detailed branches and cite some vivid English and Chinese examples to explain these ambiguity phenomena. But I put more focus on the third part and point out two differences of ambiguity between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity.
The part six will point out positive results by using ambiguity deliberately in daily conversations, advertisements and literary works.
The last part is the conclusion.
I hope by this contrastive research, we will have a better understanding of ambiguity in English and Chinese and apply it to our life and study.

By taking the comprehensive analysis perspective of Moby-Dick, this thesis will point out that the main characteristics of Ahab.
