英语专业六年制免费师范生硕士毕业论文
摘 要: 硕士毕业论文是提高学生的综合素养、实现人才培养目标的一个关键环节。根据六年制免费师范生人才培养目标,作者提出毕业论文和毕业实习一体化模式。此模式通过将毕业论文写作环节融入毕业实习、双导师共同指导、强化过程管理,对提高毕业论文质量是行之有效的。

一、研究背景
《教育部、财政部关于实施高等学校本科教学质量与教学改革工作的意见》指出:高校本科教学工作评估是当前高等教育的主要任务,是提高教育质量的关键举措。本科教学工作水平评估的一项重要内容是抽查学生毕业设计(论文)。《教育部关于进一步深化本科教学改革全面提高教学质量的若干意见》进一步提出:提高教学质量,要高度重视实践环节,提高学生实践能力;要加强实验、实习、实践和毕业设计(论文)等实践教学环节,特别要加强专业实习和毕业实习等重要环节。为此,外国语学院加大实践教学改革力度,积极探索实践教学方法、手段和形式,根据六年制免费师范生实际情况和目前四年制高招毕业论文中存在的问题,经过多次考察和论证,一致决定该专业学生毕业论文可根据自己的学习和研究兴趣,在一定的理论指导下,以教育教学、毕业实习中出现的小学英语教育实际问题为研究范围和研究对象,允许学生采取多样化的毕业设计形式,如毕业论文、教育教学调查与分析、教学案例分析、教学活动设计等形式。院部对选题、指导过程和答辩进行严格监控。
二、六年制公费师范生基本情况介绍
2010年湖南第一师范学院在全国率先提出并承担了湖南省“初中起点六年制本科层次农村小学教师公费定向培养计划”(简称“六年制”),其培养目标是为县以下农村小学培养热爱教育事业、基础知识宽厚、专业知识扎实、德智体美全面发展、综合素质高、具有实施素质教育和一定教育教学研究及管理能力的本科层次小学教师。“六年制”公费师范生毕业后要回到生源地所在的县市区以下农村学校从事教育教学工作。为了强化教育教学基本技能与综合素质培养,构建确保毕业生服务农村小学教育的体系,根据湖南省教育厅关于公费定向师范生培养要求和师范专业人才培养方案,公费定向师范生原则上安排到生源地县(市、区)进行顶岗实习。教务处根据学生生源地分布,统一联系各地县(市、区)教育局,由县(市、区)教育统一安排实习学校。
三、毕业论文与顶岗实习有机结合模式探索策略
毕业论文是高等院校毕业生提交的一份有一定学术价值的文章。六年制免费师范生毕业实习安排在第七个学期,学生到农村学校顶岗实习,全程、全方位地体验小学教育教学工作。毕业论文安排在第八学期,这个时间正好可以将毕业实习与毕业论文有效衔接,这样学生的毕业论文选题更靠拢教学一线,更加接近课堂教学实际。
(一)将毕业论文写作环节融入毕业实习:毕业实习一般可以分为三个阶段,每个阶段的实习内容和目标都有所不同,可以将毕业论文写作的某些环节融入毕业实习,使二者实现珠联璧合。第一阶段是感性认识阶段,学生要对实习学校、周边学校及当地教育情况有初步的了解;第二阶段即进入选题阶段。通过在实习学校的深入实践,学生已对教育行业有较系统的认识,在实习实践过程中会不断发现问题,可以为毕业论文的选题提供依据,在进一步深入了解和检验后可以确定最终毕业论文选题;第三阶段是相关资料的搜集阶段。在确定选题的基础上,学生充分利用实习学校各种便利条件,搜集整理第一手研究内容资料,如展开相关调查研究、对某个案例进行分析或者对某种课型进行教学设计等。
(二)实行双导师制度:毕业实习和毕业论文作为高校重要的实践性教学环节,当然离不开教师的指导。目前很多高校实行了毕业实习双导师制,即高校教师和实习学校的.指导教师共同指导学生实习。在具体实施中,实习学校导师侧重实践情景的观察、教育现象的描述、具体信息的收集等方面的指导。高校指导教师侧重帮助学生进行具体分析和理论提升。在整个过程中,双方指导教师都要注意将学科专业与教育专业融合的意识贯穿于毕业论文创作与指导的全过程。
(三)强化过程管理:“本科生做论文重在过程,而非结果。”从这一意义上说,学校和指导教师必须加强论文选题到答辩整个过程的管理。1.制订六年制免费师范生毕业论文实施方案,论文选题原则上限定在调查报告、教学设计和案例分析三个方向;2.召开六年制师范生毕业论文指导老师动员大会,确定指导老师的指导学生人数,传达论文各个时间节点要完成的论文写作任务;3.召开学生毕业论文工作动员大会,下达论文写作任务书,要求学生根据自己的实习内容确定毕业论文的选题方向(三选一);4.选题确定后,学生在老师的指导下撰写开题报告;5.完成开题报告后,学生根据实习积累的素材撰写毕业论文,在指导老师指导下至少经过三轮修稿后定稿;6.指导教师、评阅教师和答辩教师按30%、30%和40%的比例评定学生毕业论文成绩,论文成绩为优秀的要通过两位专家评审才能最终定为优秀,否则降等。
四、毕业论文与毕业实习有机结合效果分析
六年制公费师范生毕业论文与毕业实习实施一体化模式两年以来,得到领导、教师和毕业生的支持和肯定,毕业生对毕业实习重视程度明显提升,毕业论文的质量得到明显提高。
(一)选题符合实际需要、应用价值高。采用毕业论文和毕业实习相结合的模式,学生可以通过实习充分了解教育动态,熟悉教育特点,选择感兴趣的内容作为写作选题。指导教师可以结合学生现实情况帮助学生选取时效性、应用性较强的合适题目。对2016—2017届六年制公费师范生毕业论文进行统计,这两届毕业论文共有四种类型,即调查报告、教学设计、案例分析和其他。前三种类型是学生是针对实习岗位量身打造确定的,第四种是有少部分学生以后想考研继续深造写的是学术论文形式。从2016—2017届可以看出,论文写调查与分析比较多,这些都是毕业论文与实习有机融合取得的成效。总的来说,选题接地气,富有针对性、实用性,如《小学英语大班课堂教学现状调查与分析——以隆回县梨子园学校为例》、《农村小学高年级学生英语课外阅读现状的调查与分析——以麻阳县xx小学为例》;还有很多选题富有创新性,如写留守儿童英语方面的:《关于小学留守儿童英语作业上交困难的调查研究报告——以耒阳市三架小学为例》;如写英语歌曲创编的教学设计:《基于英语歌曲创编的小学英语教学设计——以PEP人教版六年级上册Unit6为例》;如写翻转课堂教学模式的:《翻转课堂教学模式在小学英语教学中的可行性调查与分析——以南洲实验小学为例》,等等。
(二)培养学生理论联系实际、发现问题和解决问题的能力。通过实习学校与高校配合,鼓励学生在实习岗位发现问题、解决问题,培养探索精神。在双导师的指导下进行具体的实践调查,收集所需资料及数据,进行分析总结,从而保证论文质量,避免论文的空洞无力和抄袭现象。实习过程中指导教师根据学生所选题目,指导和帮助其制订科学合理的实习方案,并提供文献资料方面的帮助。在这个过程中启发和指导学生进行调研、整理分析材料,统计计算并得出合理结论,从而培养学生观察、分析和解决问题的能力,培养学生系统思维的能力,同时指导学生运用所学知识进行研究,树立正确的科研态度。
(三)学生专业素养得到提升:毕业论文(设计)与专业实习相结合,学生既可以从指导教师那里学习搜集资料的范围、线索和方法,用于丰富理论知识,又可以从实习学校那里找到相关的素材,积累实际工作经验,还可以参加实习学校的各种科研活动,开阔视野,拓宽知识面,这些理论知识和实践知识的获取有利于学生开拓思路、增长见识,从而在论文写作中能有所创新,得出一些合理的结论或提出一些可行的建议,进而提升学生的专业素养。
五、结语
毕业实习与毕业论文写作有机结合促使学生了解本专业的实际状况、存在问题及专业发展方向,还给予学生运用自身所学知识来解决问题的机会,从而保证毕业论文的独创性、实用性、时效性、创新性,并为未来就业做好准备。各高校均可根据自身情况,合理选择安排毕业实习,并与相应的制度结合以提高毕业生的论文质量。
