Water Research的出版社在欧洲，而EST是美国化学学会的杂志，这可能是EST在美国比较火的原因之一。Water Research注重水污染方面的研究，在水处理领域当之无愧地排在第一位；EST关注的是大的环境领域（水气固等多方面），在环境领域的影响力也有目共睹。Water Research和EST的影响力在传统环境领域稳坐头两把交椅，至于影响因子更高的EES，ACB等杂志在该领域的认可度其实并没这么高，当然如果能发到nature子刊，PNAS级别就另当别论。

建议参考以下资料。《GEOSCIENCEFRONTIERS》是中国地质大学（北京）与北京大学共同主办的英文学术期刊，季刊，公开发行，2010年10月开始出版。主编莫宣学院士，美国SouthernCalifornia大学的GregoryADavis教授担任特约副主编。《GEOSCIENCEFRONTIERS》瞄准国际地学领域学科前沿，发表国内外地学前缘研究成果，探索地学前缘发展态势，为推动地学事业的发展和加速我国现代化建设发展服务，是一份重要的地学领域学术期刊。FrontiersinNeuroscience和FrontiersinPharmacology不是一个杂志名字，而是一系列的杂志总称，和NPG里面的NatureResearchJournals和NatureReviewJournals一个意思。NatureResearchJournals的影响因子（因为NatureResearchJournals是NatureMedicine，NatureNeuroscience等的总称，而不是一本杂志）FrontiersinNeuroscience和FrontiersinPharmacology的影响因子。
plosgenetics比较好，原因如下：plosgenetics是国际认可度非常高的期刊，全球81本自然指数期刊之一，专家给的意见也非常好，非常认真。而Cell旗下的CellReports分数近三年都在跌，目前降至7、815了，虽然他的文章质量也挺好的，但是跟plosgenetics比还是差了一点。

属于第一梯队的期刊。Springer中文名字叫做施普林格。其实从官网的about上，我们基本就可以知道这个出版社出版的相关期刊。1842年，在柏林成立，是一个总部位于德国的世界性出版公司，它出版教科书、学术参考书以及同行评论性杂志，专注于科学、技术、数学以及医学领域。一个重磅的消息就是，在2015年出版业两大巨头 Springer 和 Nature 完成合并，合并后的新公司叫 “Springer Nature"。有了nature的加持，Springer显然就是巨无霸了。《Nature》是世界上历史悠久的、最有名望的科学杂志之一，首版于1869年11月4日。 与当今大多数科学论文杂志专一于一个特殊的领域不同，其是少数依然发表来自很多科学领域的一手研究论文的杂志（其它类似的杂志有《科学》和《美国科学院学报》等）。在许多科学研究领域中，很多最重要、最前沿的研究结果都是以短讯的形式发表在《自然》上。
