The title of my paper is On the Significance of Drama Method in the Improvement of English Learning in Chinese Rural Junior High School. I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons. First of all, I really want to be a teacher, so during the four years, I have read many books about how to become a good teacher. Secondly, when I was a freshman in the summer of 2008, I was chosen as a teaching assistant of the summer camp which was organized by the New Oriental English School in Shijiazhuang. In the summer camp, I rewrote a script of an English drama to be one of the programs of the open ceremony. It was very popular among those students. They thought it was very interesting. In 2010, I was practiced as an English teacher at Chenguantun Middle School in Qinhuangdao, I found that the students have little interest towards English learning, so I hoped I could help them. So I use the Drama Method as my teaching method. Almost all of the students were highly motivated by the interesting teaching method and they have made great progress in the exam one month later. So the research proved that the Drama Method can be used as an effective teaching method. For the above facts, I select the subject of On the Significance of Drama Method in the Improvement of English Learning in Chinese Rural Junior High School as the title of my paper. I hope by studying this topic we can find an effective teaching method to help all the students’ English learning in junior high school.

Next, it is an outline of my paper. In the main part of this paper, I divide it into five parts.

Part one presents an introduction to identify the major problem of junior high school students’ English learning problems

The first part gives a brief introduction to the ambiguity and structure of the thesis.

The second part is literature review, briefly introducing the development of study of ambiguity and some scholars’s main views.

The third to fifth parts focus on three types of ambiguity in English and Chinese: phonological ambiguity, lexical ambiguity, syntactic ambiguity. In every broad type, I respectively list some detailed branches and cite some vivid English and Chinese examples to explain these ambiguity phenomena. But I put more focus on the third part and point out two differences of ambiguity between English ambiguity and Chinese ambiguity.

The part six will point out positive results by using ambiguity deliberately in daily conversations, advertisements and literary works.

The last part is the conclusion.

I hope by this contrastive research, we will have a better understanding of ambiguity in English and Chinese and apply it to our life and study.

（2）态度不端正，积极性不高。面对着就业和继续深造的双重压力，有些毕业生在撰写毕业论文期间态度不够端正，不够重视，因此在指导论文的过程中不能主动、及时地和指导老师进行联系，对于指导教师对论文已作出的修改意见不能及时地进行修改，从而无法保证论文工作的顺利进行。此外，论文的排版问题也层出不穷。学生对于一些简单的计算机程序的使用还远远不够，比如word文档等。排版的不规范从一定程度上来讲，也正反映出学生论文写作态度的不积极。

（3）论文格式不够规范。硕士毕业论文属于学术论文的范畴，对格式有着严格的要求。然而，在实际的论文指导过程中，不少学生对论文的格式不重视，随心所欲，表现在字体、字号、参考书目、文献的引用等方面。例如，参考文献的格式五花八门，有的学生甚至通篇都没有对所引用的文献作任何标注，影响了论文的严谨性。

3.问题原因分析

4.解决对策

（1）注重学生法语基本功德训练及写作能力的提升。通过四年的学生，尽可能多地为学生创造实践的机会。

（2）为确保论文的规范写作和进一步提高论文写作的质量，学校可以尝试开设法语论文写作课程，或者在论文写作前期，系统地举办论文写作讲座，让学生在写作上有据可依、有的放矢。开设法语论文写作课程，按照教学大纲要求，结合学生的具体情况，全面锻炼学生法语实际应用能力和创新能力。论文指导教师根据学生所选论文题目，基于自身熟知的研究领域与特长，对学生毕业论文作出科学系统并有针对性的指导。

Report内容有星期、日期、出席情况、天气等。（未学到的项目可适当删减）。然后由这两个值日生，或者他们再邀请别的两三个同学一起，表演他们课前已编排好的短剧，剧情可依照已学过的课文的情景，也可自己创设情景，但是台词必需要运用已学过的类型。之所以这样做，为了复习旧课，而这种复习不是简单的重复，而一种创造，是语言的活用，从而加深对新学内容的理解，终极达到“学以致用”。自编自演课本剧，让学生在笑声中复习，巩固旧知识，避免了让学生紧张得窒息的提问复习法，而收效却远远超过后者，这点，笔者深有体会，一些学生毕业后，仍恋恋不忘他们英语课上的五分钟表演。这种方法能使学生处于积极主动的学习状态，也能培养学生的创造思维能力，试得一试。五、开展竞赛，调动学习兴趣。初中学生具有进取心和荣誉感，尤其在市场经济竞争的熏陶下，学生的竞争意识更加激烈。将竞争机制引入英语课堂教学中来，则是一种行之有效的形式。例如，我们可以将日常口头操练用语变化成竞赛用语；问答可以来一个“抢答”；拼读学词，来一个拼“单词大王”竞赛，以及书写比赛，猜谜语大赛，传悄悄话竞赛等多种多样的形式；再用积分法，给予鼓励效果更佳。课堂上适当的竞赛，学生乐于参与，乐于争先，乐于学习，这就调动了全体学生的学习兴趣。六、因地制宜，诱发学习英语兴趣长乐是侨乡，近年来出国打工的人猛增。出了国的人，更是深刻地体会到懂英语的好处，由于这些申请出国的人或已经出了国的人，就是学生所熟悉的人，因此他们觉得可信，对英语也有了兴趣，当然笔者也留意帮助学生树立远大的理想，告诉他们学英语并不只是为了出国打工，真正的用途是为了让中国走向世界。总之，兴趣是推动学生学习的内存动力。教师要因时、因地、因人，创设多种能激发学生学习兴趣的教学情景，以增强英语课堂教学效果，提高学生的英语水平。英语虽然是一种外来语言，在我们的生活中越来越重要。如今，我们尽大多数小学在三年级开始开设英语课程，开始英语的学习。所以说，小学英语教教育教学是英语启蒙教学，是基础教学，学生大多在8——12岁之间，这个年龄阶段的孩子活泼、好动、热情、好表现、模仿能力强，有可塑性，但同时有部分学生自控能力差，课堂上留意力集中时间不长。若我们教师不去注意这些，一味的满堂灌，学生肯定会觉得学习英语是一件乏味的事情。所以说，我们应该在平时的教学中多观察、多注意，利用他们的心理特点，培养学习英语的热情和兴趣，让他们体会学习英语的兴趣，使他们有足够的学习动力和强力的愿望进行今后的英语学习。俄国教育学家乌申斯基认为没有兴趣的强制性学习，就会扼杀学生探求真理的欲望。这就要求教师运用多种教育教学方法激发学生对英语的学习兴趣和学习热情,让学生感受学习英语的快乐。一、积极肯定，及时表扬很多时候人的喜悦感是由成功带来的，学生感受学习的快乐大部分来自于学习的成功。他们渴望学习成功带来的喜悦。因此在实际的英语学习中，我们教师就应该肯定学生的学习成果，对学生多表扬，少批评，让学生感受成功，让他们尽量体会学习的快乐。但是，有些学生上课并不是表现的那么积极、向上。对于外来的一种语言，有的学生由于性格原因怕开口，在课堂上“默默无闻”，几乎是扮演着听众的角色。而我们有些教师在课堂上为了达到预定的教学目标，完成教学任务，往往忽视了这些学生，对他们偶然答非所问的回答不甚满意，匆忙中便找好学生来代替。有的老师甚至会因为学生的错误回答而冷嘲热讽。如果这样做，他们慢慢的对英语的学习会失去兴趣，有的学生还会厌学。那怎样才能调动这部分学生的兴趣，使他们感受到学习英语的快乐呢？我觉得作为一个老师，我们最不能吝啬的，最能利用的是我们的表扬和赞美。我们如果希望一个学生能有所改变、有所进步，首先是肯定他，再次是表扬他，哪怕是细微的进步，因为表扬的效果往往要比批评好的多。我现在所教的班中有一位学生，她曾经是老师眼中的“差生”。我接他们班的时候发现她的英语作业几乎没有写对的地方，英语的读音也一塌糊涂。前面的英语老师给这位学生的评价非常差，对她几乎是放弃的。我想无论如何我应该做些什么，我不能让这种情况继续下去，一个孩子是一个家庭的希望。一开始，我对她非常严厉，但是我发现她的脾气非常倔。我试着改变方法，我就想方想法的找出她的优点表扬她。比如，她今天做作业了，字写的好了。即使是有时侯她做的不是那们好，我也总是赞赏她，肯定她的点点滴滴，经常对她说“你今天做的很好，比以前有进步了，老师相信你们会和其他同学一样优秀的。”我还不时的在课堂上把发言的机会给她，尽量当着全班学生表扬她。慢慢的，这位学生对自己产生了自信心，也开始喜欢我和我的英语课了。不再觉得自己是老师眼中的“差生”了，因为我的肯定和表扬，班里的同学对她也改变了看法。这些都让她产生了学习的自信和兴趣。她一改以往在课堂上一言不发的情况，现在已经能够用英语进行简单的会话了。作业也基本上能独立完成；成绩也一天天在提高。有一次上完英语课，这位学生跑过来对我说；“Miss Jin, 现在我觉得实在上英语课挺有趣的。”我知道这是她的心里话，这位学生已经对英语学习产生兴趣了，体验到成功学习的快乐，今后的英语肯定会越学越好。二、创设情景，激发兴趣人们的生活离不开情景，学习语言更离不开情景。新课程标准指出，课堂教学的过程应是师生共同参与、相互合作、创设性的实现教学目标的新过程。在平时的教学过程中，我综合英语的趣味性、实践性，学生的身理、心理特点，并且根据不同课型，创设一些童趣盎然，引人入胜的英语情景，提高他们学习英语的兴趣，在情景中学习英语，感受乐趣。课堂上我结合教学内容，经常创设如下情景1生活情景。人一旦脱离了社会，就学不会语言。生活情景即是把生活中的实际情况搬入课堂中来。例如我在教牛津英语5B《A PE Lesson》这课时，我特别安排在操场上上课，把这节课上成一节体育双语课。学生觉得非常新鲜、有趣，因此他们表现都很积极。我和学生一起边说英语边做动作，不一会儿就学会了本单元中一些体育的专业术语。等他们会说过后，我还让几个学生当体育小老师，用刚才学过的短语和句型来上一节体育双语课。由于摆脱了传统课堂的束缚，即使是那些困难学生也不再拘束了，他们尽自己的所能在那里和其他同学交流，尽量的表现自己，不仅学到了知识，更增加了学习的信心，体验了学习英语的乐趣。2体态情景。如果我们教英语只是一味的命令学生读、写，很快就会厌倦，不仅达不到学习的目的，还会降低学生学习英语的兴趣。体态情景即教师用面容、手势、姿态等来表达和体现教学内容。体态情景有助于学生理解教学内容并产生进一步学习和参与的欲望。它非常适合我们在教低年级学生学习动物名词的时候用。例如，我们在教蛇，猴子等一系例动物时，老师可以结合动物的特点和学生一起模仿、学习，边说边做。这样学生就可以避免枯燥的学习，体验学习的快乐。3游戏情景。小学生好奇、好乐、好胜、好玩，对游戏情有独钟。游戏情景即利用游戏、比赛等方式调动学生积极性，提高学生的学习兴趣。我们可以根据不同课的类型和阶段安排相适应而又有趣的游戏，丰富学生的课堂。这些游戏可以是表演形式的，也可以是比赛形式的。只要是符合新课程标准的，和我们的英语课程相吻合的，有助于学生对知识的把握和理解的游戏形式，我们老师都可以采用。学生可以通过这些游戏运用和巩固所学的英语知识。形式新奇，丰富多样的游戏更能够让学生体验到学习的愉悦。三、延伸课堂，感受乐趣丹麦语言学家叶斯帕森说过“外语教学的首要条件看来是要尽可能地让学生接触外语，使用外语。学外语像游泳一样，学生必须浸在水中，而不是偶然沾沾水。”小学英语课时少，时隔长，这对于我们学习英语的学生来说非常的不利。我在每节英语课的开始，坚持让学生进行一个简短的英语“演讲”，所谓的“演讲”可以是简短的一首英语小诗，也可以是自己用所学知识写的一篇英语短文，甚至可以是几个人合作表演的一个英语短剧。不拘泥于形式，不注重成绩，力求对英语的理解和运用。除此之外，我们可以开辟英语学习的第二课堂，举行诸如英语聚会，英语书法比赛、英语口语比赛、创设英语小品等，目的就是让学生们多说、多看、多听。这些是活动式英语课堂在课后的延伸，它能培养学生交流合作的能力，能调动学生的参与意识和学习积极性。更重要的是，英语的第二课堂形成了一种开放的、***的、积极互动的语言活动氛围，会产生浸润性的学习效果，即让学生愉快地融合在英语环境之中，自觉地，不知不觉地进行学习。这些不但可以巩固学生所学的知识，更重要的是让他们感受了学以致用的乐趣。由于年龄和心理的原因, 许多小学生觉得学习英语是一件“苦差事”, 下面笔者将结合自己的教学实践,从词汇学习、课外阅读和休闲娱乐三方面探讨如何在英语学习中体验快乐。一、从词汇学习中体验快乐单词是英语的基本单位,掌握单词是英语学习最基本也是最必要做的事情。只有记住了单词,扩大了英语词汇量,才能为以后的英语学习打下坚实的基础,反之,如果连单词都没掌握多少,那就会“巧妇难为无米之炊”。然而,记单词在许多人的眼里是一条十分难以逾越的鸿沟,死记硬背令他们尤为头疼厌烦,因而也就谈不上学习的积极性和主动性。到底如何越过这条鸿沟去感受快乐记单词呢?一句话,方法最重要。(一) 插上联想的“翅膀”。在日常学习中,要善于发现身边熟悉的简单的单词,不断拓展联想和进行发散性思维,这样便能知一词而记一串,从而扩大英语的词汇量。笔者曾在计算机系任教,计算机专业的多数学生对英语不是特别感兴趣,也常常懒于主动地学习和记忆单词,但他们对与计算机相关的知识却是十分感兴趣。利用这个学习兴趣,引导他们使用发散性思维和拓展联想的学习方法,收效颇好。例如大多数同学都知道, puter是计算机的英文单词,那么计算机的各个零部件、操作程序、命令等用英文应该怎么表达呢? 这样一联想就产生了许多好奇心,求知欲一下子变得强烈起来。在强烈求知欲的驱使下,学生会主动去询问老师或查阅字典、词典等学习工具,这样所有相关词汇都会尽收眼底,疑难问题也会迎刃而解。比如以下这些与计算机相关的零部件名称屏幕( screen ) 、显示器(monitor) 、鼠标(mouse) 、键盘( keyboard) 、打印机( laser p rinter) 、软件( software) 、硬件( hardware) 、调制解调器(modem ) 、软盘( floppy disk ) 、驱动器( driver) ; 看到这些单词我们不禁会有进一步地联想monitor有“班长”的意思,在计算机英语中却表示的是“显示器”; mouse 原本是“老鼠”的意思,在这里却表示的是“鼠标”,非常形象易记。许多同学认为,通过这样的联想学习,不仅扩大了词汇量,而且也感受到了学习词汇的乐趣。除此之外,还可以不断利用自己身边熟悉的事物来发掘一些新鲜有趣的单词由苹果、西瓜的英文单词联想到杏、桂圆、荔枝等喜爱的水果的英文表达;由西红柿、黄瓜的英文词汇扩展到西芹、洋芋等蔬菜的英文说法;由排球、篮球的英文词语串想到橄榄球、棒球等受欢迎的比赛项目的英文翻译。这样,让自己的大脑插上联想的“翅膀”,举一反三,借助词典等工具,不断熟悉新单词,温习旧单词,使望而生畏的单词学习变成一件快乐的事。(二) 在形象记忆中体验快乐。有些学习者认为学习和记忆英语词汇太枯燥乏味,因而产生畏难情绪,学习英语的热情、兴趣也随之减退。在这里,可采用一种形象化记忆单词的方法。尽管有不少英语单词较枯燥乏味,但是并非所有的英语词汇都是枯燥无味的。相反,有些英语词汇,甚至应该说有相当数量的英语词汇具有鲜明、生动、具体的形象性。你一看到它们,只要稍加思考,就会与生活中某一形象的特征对号入座,给人留下深刻印象,甚至难以忘怀。例如 walk - in patient门诊病人(门诊病人大多能走着去就诊) ; wage ceiling最高工资限额(用ceiling“天花板”表示最高限额,形象生动) ; chalk and talk注入式教学法(习惯于满堂灌的老师授课时总是讲呀,板书呀,而忽略了学生的参与。用chalk and talk 来表示此意十分形象) ;cram school补习学校( cram一词意为“把塞进”,其引申义指的是“用填鸭式方法教学生”。在补习学校中一般都要采用此种教法方能有成效。)这些都是典型的形象化单词,我们作为英语学习者,平时应当细心观察,多寻找、多发现这种词汇的特点,利用其形象性,加深英语单词的印象,使记忆单词成为一件有趣的事。(三) 探索词缀的奥秘。英语词汇有其自身造字的奥秘,通过掌握这些奥秘,我们同样可以享受到英语学习的乐趣。许多英语单词的构成有一定的规律,了解并掌握其中一些基本规律对英语学习有很大帮助。许多单词都由两部分构成词干与词缀。词缀一般都有特定的含义,例如 p re - (前) , post - (后) , anti- (反对)等等。我们可以根据词缀来猜出新单词的含义。War 大家都知道是战争的意思, 那么p rewar, postwar, antiwar分别是战前的,战后的,反战的意思; 同时我们可以很容易地看出p rewar 与postwar是一对反义词。再例如,笔者曾有一次在课堂上讲解到ex - 意为“前任的”,然后请学生们来猜以下含有此词缀的单词的意思 ex - wife, ex -husband, ex - p resident, ex - boyfriend, ex - girlfriend等,同学们纷纷踊跃发言,基本上都能猜对这些复合词的意思,课堂气氛十分活跃。当学到新单词*** (三角形)时,不难发现,这是一个由“tri - ”和“angle”组成的复合词。在高中时就知道angle是角、角度的意思,那“tri - ”会不会代表着“三”呢?查一查工具书,这个猜测果然得到了印证。诸如此类的有趣词汇构造在我们的英语学习中屡屡碰到,只要我们肯动脑筋,不断总结回纳,比较英语和汉语、英语和英语的“同”和“异”,这样既提高了英语学习效率和英语水平,又可以体验英语学习的乐趣。二、从课外阅读中体验快乐大量的阅读是学习英语的重要方式,也是提高英语阅读能力,从阅读中体验乐趣的一条重要途径。大量阅读固然重要,但读什么更为重要。现在摆在我们面前的是一个广阔的阅读天地,我们必须有选择地看些自己感兴趣的、又对提高英语阅读能力有帮助的英语书籍和英语报刊。统观起来,下列书籍可作为阅读对象(一) 英语幽默故事集。我们可以先借阅一些篇幅较短,内容生动有趣的英语简易读物,如《天方夜谭》、《每日一读》和《英文幽默与笑话》等,这些读物没有专业词汇,生词又少,且不用费很多精力去查字典,有的甚至把生词都标注出来了。这样,我们就可以把注意力集中在内容和文字的表达方法上,遇到有趣的故事和文章段落,我们可以把它背下来或用自己的话复述,在口语课堂上与老师或同学们一起分享其中的乐趣,既提高了自己的口语水平、丰富积累了写作的素材,又增强了自己对英语学习的自信心, 还有助于英语水平的全面提高。(二) 英美文学经典著作。一些简写的中英文对照的英美文学经典著作也是学生提高阅读能力的又一佳径,例如《傲慢与偏见》、《茶花女》、《红与黑》等,这类著作故事性强,文章难度适中,词汇的选用也是经过了精心的安排。阅读时,我们可以先阅读英文部分,当遇到生词或难度较大的句子时,可以参照中文部分,慢慢地随着故事情节的深入,自然而然地找到了英语学习的乐趣。通过阅读这些文章,不仅能学到语言知识,而且还能了解英美国家的风俗习惯和文化背景知识等。(三) 英文报刊、杂志。就知识的覆盖面而言,任何教材都是难以与报纸相比的。每天读些报纸上的文章,会使我们接触到用纯正的现代英语所写的充满时代气味的文章,同时也是巩固词汇、扩大我们的知识面的好方法。因此,阅读报纸是提高英语水平的最佳方式。订购一些自己感兴趣的英文报纸, 如China Daily, 21century News***,Shenzhen Daily等,这些报刊每天都可以把最新的消息带给我们,这样一来,我们不仅能够从这些新闻中练习阅读,还能够让我们更多地接触到英美国家的日常生活。
